Noice! Saw a *pristine* NSX this week same colour scheme.. were these guys in 90's first to do that combo in coupes or does it stretch back much further?
Yes, hoping to go back later this year. Would have to stay a day later for the F40 celebration at Laguna Seca. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Thanks Brett, sorry I missed meeting you again. Most of the time I was on the other side of the circuit. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Yeah right mate, I somehow think that may have been planned. You weren't by any chance wearing a DoDo cap were you?
P4 perfect See more Ferrari 330 P4 pics Never before has a major bank heist seemed more tempting. This is the 1967 Ferrari 330 P4, the very car that finished third at Le Mans that year... and it's coming up for auction. Oh yes. On May 17 this year at Maranello, to be precise, as part of the Ferrari Leggenda e Passione' event organised by RM Auctions. Essentially they're putting a whole bunch of amazing old Ferraris under the hammer, and the P4 is the best of the lot. The car was built to compete in the World Sports Car Championship in 1967, and is one of just three P4s ever built. It won in Monza that year and finished second at Brands Hatch to secure the championship in the hands of Jackie Stewart and Chris Amon - and managed to score a podium finish at the Le Mans 24 Hours race for good measure. Not a bad pedigree, eh? Under that sleek engine cover sits a 4.2-litre V12 which puts out an estimated 480bhp, which by 1967 standards is a frankly insane amount. The P4 hasn't been raced since the late 60s and is described as completely original. The cost, you ask? How long is a very long piece of string? You're looking at millions. Several millions. But just look at the thing. Don't pretend you don't want it. Don't pretend you wouldn't undertake some deeply criminal behaviour to to raise the capital to buy one. Now then, who knows how to hot-wire a high-security safe? Image Unavailable, Please Login
