    I think it's kinda interesting.

But it's the wrong car for that much money in 2010.

That's what I was thinking. The pictures on ebay are poor. They make the body look not quite right. Of course, maybe it isn't quite right....

Based on a vintage Ferrari, so it stays here. It's still a 330 GT, only it's been pathetically rebodied to look like something else.

Wow, look at that side view. Wheelbase looks just a tad short, huh?

I strongly agree with BrianP, keeping keeping fakes and replicas in this section only further legitimizes them. Even Hemmings lists separates them from the real thing. I too vote to get them out of here. M

I've seen worse than this, far worse. My only initial first-reaction qualm with this replica is the wheelbase, which appears too short for what they did. But they seem to have gotten the a-pillar rake and general roof line pretty accurate, which is often the Achilles heel of GTO fakes.

So since this thread is now in general automotive does that mean that we will be reading about most rebodied ferraris here? Seems a little subjective, but whatever makes people happy.

Somebody must have missed my earlier post and moved the thread. Now it's back and retitled to avoid future confusion.

I'd be real happy with it. Not at that price though.
What do you think about my old California, which was a Boano rebodied by Scaglietti in 1959?
    It's a fake? Or what?

Why does the wheelbase look short? If they started with a 330 2+2 frame, they had enough length, right?

Is it because the body has too much height? Especially through the door and front fender?

The whole profile is horrid! I hate when these knockoffs discredit the beauty of real GTOs.

Most likely a fake. My friend here, owns a FIAT 1100 Vignale, of course, another fake FIAT 1100. Regards, Alberto

This would be really valuable if only it had it's original engine. :D

BTW - is it just me or is the car on Sheehan's website looking much more accurate? Certainly doesn't seem to have that strange short wheelbase.

I'm sick and tired with fakes that have a restamped frame, fake tipo plate and a restamped engine and still get recognized by the claimed chassis number. For this reason I have developed a mild liking of replicas that still have the original chassis stamping and tipo plate. I don't care if the car has a wrong engine as long as it hasn't been restamped. Best wishes, Kare
