    + me too!

Dude, there was once my Murcie was so dirty after a long trip that I popped open the engine cover then use a garden hose to wash the engine & a brush to scrub it clean. Also used toothbrush for tiny areas ;) Oh with the engine running of course & it worked fine after that. I'm also often silly enough to polish the internal bits with autosol.

I used to have the car wash boys to wipe dry my engine compartment after every wash & tipped them extra. The rear view glass will most definitely have water which prevents rear view but fine in the rain as it'll never have water there except being sprayed on deliberately. The glass back of the 360/430 has a tendency to fog up in heavy rain & you'll have a disastrous rear view.

To be honest, u'll have to cover the electronic/cal components & don't let water get into the sensitive parts which can be tough for older cars.

I find condoms a good way to keep the water out. Esp if you want to be environmentally friendly and recycle.
Also good to serve as a litmus test to ensure previous event is safeguarded.

Really? That's a relieve. I also asked a local expert on Porsches & he assured me that it's normal to hear some gearbox knocking for low gears with fast accelerator release. Maybe I need a new straight thru exhaust :)

Jon, it was really cool when you took the Murcie for that long holiday trip in Malaysia! :)

You got any pictures of the Murcie to share during that trip?

Yeah boy & I just realised that u were with us on that trackday. Here's the hotel that we stayed & the beach. We must do a drive there again & the nearby chilli crab was not bad :)

Club Med was just 10mins away.

Unfortunately, I didn't take pics of the lambo driving on the beach :D

Sounds good. Is your Scud on stock exhaust?

My 997 is very "lively" now, the car reacts to the slightest throttle much like carburetted car, no more dreaded E-throttle feel while on the straight, the turbo kicks in with a very addictive wave of power & the ceramic brakes are a God-send gift, I would've never ordered this option when new. The SWB also makes it very manouverable in KL traffic & I'm pondering if I should upgrade to the techart shocks with lifter.

Are the shocks going to be firmer?
KL roads conditions are not the best for very firm shocks.

F1 teams are close to agreeing to use a 1.5 L 4 cylinder twin tubro engine in 2013. That what www.worldcarfans.com is reporting. I cannot imagine they are going towards this direction. Thumbs down to this idea.
