Amazing job Haig. It's really inspiring to not only make something like this happen but then realize the power of the community and how much we can do to make someone's wish come true. My Hat goes off to you and the F-Chat Community for this.

I also want to thank Vic is FCA member. He called me Friday to arrange a meeting point on the 101 since there was already a scheduled FCA run on Saturday.

He was preparing to join us with 35+ F-Cars on the 101. Due to the delays and limited time on our side, I was not able to make a call to him in time. Vic, thank you and all your members for being on a stand by.

Hey Henry what do mean thanking us, we THANK-YOU all! Everyone has given so much. More than you will ever know! We feel the love from you all, because you gave of yourselves. This has made Alexander's trip not only an AWESOME, AWESOME trip, but the most incredible experience of his life time. These are special meomories for my family that we will always treasure and that will live on with us forever. We could never have imagined all this out pouring of love and generousity from complete strangers. We feel like we have made some fantastic new friends. Before Alexander's brother Andrew passed away from the same disease, 6 years ago, my sister and I have talked about getting a program together for these young adults. Currently there are no organizations for the wishes for terminally ill young adults over 18 years old. If others could experience even a quarter of what you all have done for Alexander it would be so amazing.

    Thanks to you all,
    Bridget

It's truly amazing what has happened here.

I originally thought - wouldn't it be nice if 5 or 6 cars could showed up and when Henry and Haig responded, I thought cool it worked, the power of the internet is an amazing thing.

Then Haig really took the bull by the horns and it spiraled and spiraled into something incredible :) I would have loved to be able to make it and take part, but like so many others following this thread, I feel like the enthusiasm shown here has taken us all along on your journey........

    Outstanding :D

Kevin, Haig, Alexander, the McCormack family, and all who took part,

On behalf of the Chief, Motor Officers' Dan Turpin and Randy Lloyd, I want to thank you again for allowing us the pleasure of taking part last Saturday. It was truly amazing to feel the Love and Giving from all you folks. Complete strangers all coming together to support and make Alexander's day and dream come true. I reflected over the weekend and realized that this is what life is all about. Giving to others and receiving the joy and fulfillment it brings back to you. Thank you all for the reminder.

Oh, and Haig, the Watch Commander and officers thank you for the pizza. It made their day.

    Sincerely,

    Robert Quesada
    Sergeant, Burbank PD

PS...You all get a freebie next time you're speeding in Burbank. ;)

    Haigh,
You should just give the get out of jail free card to someone who can use it like Jon or Tim. You will never need it driving that TR (LOL)

I know I am covered in Burbank form now on. Last time we were there, I was tailed by BPD all the way to Casteways... Kevin, took all the bumps over driving on yellow line. I crossed over few times but didn't get pulled over. :)

Sorry it took me so long to get on and post about the great day. I wanted to have the video finished up before posting. That will have to wait though. I wanted to express my big thanks to Haig and Henry for helping so much to put this event on. I was extremely glad that I was able to round up the NSX guys to support the cause. A very special thanks to Jack, Yolanda, and James that came all the way down from San Francisco just to take part in the event. Thank you to Alexander and his family for allowing us to take part in such a special unforgettable day. It couldn't have been any better. Truly a wonderful experience for the soul. I have a 'goals' board in my home office and I have added the picture that I was able to get with Alexander. He will be my constant reminder to live life to the fullest, take nothing for granted, and continue to partake in as many events like these as I can. With that being said, I have set the ball in motion to get up a site that will help organize events like this around the country. I could definitely use everyone's help to get the word out after it is up and running (as soon as I can). Anyone that would like to provide input or contacts (i.e. make a wish, etc.) please feel free to contact me! Hopefully something that started here on Ferrarichat can carry out to the nation with full force!

    Stephen,

I will do whatever I can to help out with things like this here in the Phoenix area. I'm sure my good buddy Dino would be in as well as a whole bunch of other like minded folks in our area.

Excellent, I can already tell with Fchat being the launching pad, the new site will gain traction quickly. Please stay tuned, when the site is finished I will make a thread announcing it (pending mod permission of course).
