I've been struggling with my TR since I bought it. 11k miles, sat for 6-7yrs. I had blackhorse do a major on it and it ran well for a little bit, but wasn't great. Kept trying to get it back down to them but the hour trip was too much. Tried one local in jupiter and my favorite was Ferrari of Palm beach. (insert sarcasm).

The Service manager, Frank, at Ferrari Palm Beach told me I needed to pull the engine and do a major and then they could start poking around to find out what was wrong. The symptoms were rough idol, weak power, smoked after sitting. FofPB had no idea and he really didn't seem to care. The quote was, "it'll cost something like 10k-15k"

Paulie B suggested RS imports in Jupiter. Ryan up there heard the description, tested the electronics and said, "they didn't do your fuel injectors during the major". He sourced them for an incredibly cheap price, sorted some wiring issues I was having from the 80's aftermarket parts installed (stereo, alarm), refinished my rotors all for what seemed like next to nothing after compared to what was expected.

Ryan's had a lot of experience with the TR including putting a norwood turbo in one back in the day and lived and breathed that car for months.

I'm dropping off the 328 to him soon to see how perfect he can make it. maybe take care of the holes that were in the seats from when I picked it up from the last mechanic.

    plug over.

Drew, that was a great plug! I am glad that my referral worked out for you. Other FChatters have also used Ryan at RS Imports in the past with the same results and compliments. Glad he was able to help you and make you happy. I am sure you will get the same results with your 328.
By the way, I love your white TR.

Glad to hear! After our conversations over sporting clays, I thought you may never find a good mechanic for it. Speaking of Sporting Clays, Drop me a line about your shotgun - I'm in town this week.
