What is going on at Stratstone?

    I popped into Stratstone Ferrari, Manchester a couple of weeks ago, when i arrived everything was normal, plenty of cars outside but when i went into the showroom it was half empty, all they had in was a F430 which was sold, California which was also sold, 2X 599 HGTE and 2 Maserati Granturismo's. I checked the forums to see if they were at Mottram Hall again but it appeared that they weren't. I couldn't understand why the showroom was half empty.
    I remember when i was about 4 years old which was in 1997 and i went to the old Stratstone Ferrari/Porsche showroom in Wilmslow which was just located a little further down than Aston Martin and outside there was an array of 355's and 993 Turbo's plus there was an F40 inside. Then a few years later they moved to where the Porsche Wilmslow showroom is and then moved again to that pokey shed of a showroom in Manchester. What is going on with Stratstone? they need to get back into the Wilmslow/Alderley edge area again where the money is.

    They had a 599 and a Scuderia (first one I've seen, absolutely gorgeous) in the showroom when I walked past on Wednesday night, other than that it was mostly Maser GT's.

    Again, when I walked past on Thursday morning they had another 599 and a California (still don't like them) outside and then it was mostly Masers again.

    Doesn't help that they're slap bang in the middle of a student area really, strange place to have a Ferrari dealership it must be said.

    I was in there a week or so ago to pick up my 355 after it had it's recall work done and they were full, beautiful 599 HGTC xyz or whatever it's called, black Cal which I was impressed with (still too high at the front) Red F430 etc. Maybe they were swapping stock or had another evening on such as Tatton Park

    The most impressive thing was the service!! Jon in charge of service is a star, when I get time I should post a thank you.

    I used to work there when I lived in the UK and they were at the " glass house" in Wilmslow. Never the same after they split the showrooms up and moved.

    Hi Craig, your right was better when at Wilmslow. Also remembered that you looked after me on some parts for my gt4 way back when!! Don't get service like that these days. Hope life is good in the states. Gav
