I need to spec my 458 this week. Probably going to select grigio titanio, black interior. I am struggling with the 20" sport wheel, standard silver or the gunmetal darker finish. Does anyone know if the darker finish is similar to the 16M wheel or the Scuderia wheel ? I have seen pics on Fchat where the wheel looks almost black to 16M gray. BTW, calipers will likely be yellow.

    Happy to take opinions.

    Thanks

would definitely go for the dark wheel. They are like on the Scuderia. It is more of a light gray, not black like on some pictures. Before seeing the dark option in real, I didn't like the sport wheel: standard silver version has (for me) too much contrast of color with the brake disc, so it looks "too thin".
Your choice would be a great combo, really tasteful.
PS: I went with Rosso corsa with dark wheels like this:

How about going with Grigio Ferro the 50s color? Certainly more dynamic than Grigio Titanio is. Sport sills in black for contrast and then silver paint sport wheels rather than two shades of gray ( wheels and body) competing. For the interior nero with the standard silver trim on the dash and steering wheel. The racing seats in leather and alcantara for the centre section with the contrast stitching in silver. This is especially effective with the design on the racing seats. Yellow calipers and yellow tach spark things up a bit with the yellow PH shields as well.
Front lift option may pay dividends in the real world.

Thanks for your opinions guys. Interesting I was seriously considering grigio ferro and after a day of debating with myself, may well go that way. I do think yellow calipers and shields look great with that color as compared to titanio. Still not sure on the wheel shade. Have until 10am to decide.

    Happy and safe driving.

don't think you can go wrong with either Grigio...altough i do really like Titanio..whatever the shade, you can leave the wheels silver or go a really dark shade of gray.or perhaps black...have fun:)

Grigio titanio, shields, yellow calipers, painted sport rims, nero interior with STC2 grigio scuro stitching, yellow rev counter. Daytona seats, leather shelf and top, all interior carbon options, fire extinguisher.

Current early July completion in the system, may consider air delivery to get the summer months.

My '05 430 was completed in July, sat at the factory until end August due to European vacations and I took delivery end October. Want to avoid that.
