In no way did I want to imply that anyone here, neither you nor user Napolis nor user Vincent Bobba, had connections to a drug dealer. What I did want to imply is that if one of you had connections to user icemanbops, you might be able to squash the rumours this thread is based on. In hindsight, my post was not clear on that subject*, and I will ask the mods to remove it. I apologize if one of you feels offended.

    * Actually, reading it again, I left away half of what I planned to write. Sorry!!

Sorry to comment on a tangential part of the thread, but really this thread is just a bunch of bs'ing anyway (I don't mean that in a bad way) so here goes.

More importantly, confidentiality is not a legal requirement of the forum.

Just to add a reference point, but definitely not that I think it was ok to say it, I didn't read it as a threat. More like advice -- "you sure you want to say that?" Then again the comment wasn't directed at me, and if it were I might think differently.

This should be the biggest concern in this thread. I believe that Icemanbops had an Enzo whose VIN was formerly that of a wrecked Enzo. And I believe that the Enzo in question was a 2008 model as Icemanbops said. If Icemanbops is in fact the same person detained by authorities - and no one here really knows, so the speculation is moot - then that Enzo could have a significant value over others. I'm very interested in this particular Enzo (like whether or not it has updated transmission software, etc.). And the possibility that it could get crushed pains me deeply.

Someone inform Hardigree that Bops didn't purchase either Enzo new, so the cost for either wasn't $613K; not to mention that a new Enzo from the factory was more along the lines of $670K.

That one's going into my arsenal!

    LOL!

    Of course!

Is that an obscure reference to the Kentucky FBI? If so, very clever. :)

No, the official number was 399 Enzos, plus an additional Enzo for the pope, totaling 400.

The software and transmission remain the same as a regular 2003 Enzo. The cost was significantly higher than the original MSRP. There is something else particularly special about this Enzo......

Interesting. Any reason why the F1 software couldn't be upgraded? Any chance you can spill on the particularly special part about this Enzo? :)

It could be, but it wasn't.

    Not publicly, not yet anyway.

Could be mistaken identity, one simply never knows but with on line persona's its highly possible.

While there is no definite answer yet, the similarities and coincidences between Mike and Alex are pretty striking and remarkably similar.
That would make the idea of this being a mistaken identity quite a low probability.

I hope it gets cleared up very shortly as nobody wants to be falsely accused, but im still sticking with the idea that has the higher probability ;)

    That is a bit strange.

I would wager that's a Tech.....from Scotland Yard........although a good Bail Bondsman might have him "out" already...

    Rob Lay,

Have you ever provided any 'discovery' to LEO in an ongoing criminal investigation??? This isn't the first time a member has run afoul of legal guidelines...

Don't think these guys are very reliable. My opinion is based on their B.S. story about the pink gallardo spyder. Complete crap it was. This however, looks a little more speciffic and perhaps some of it is accurate.

    Same Guy...
