Are you saying the 360 is $130,000? If so, it is at least $40k over the market.

 

I know of two rosso corsa/tan F355 Berlinettas that traded in Denver in the last 45 days from FOD for more than $65,000 (1997 and 1999 both had 30,000 mile majors completed prior to selling and new FabSpeed headers).

 

Didn't happen bro, those are $40k cars. It's been proven.

 

Would be nice, I might pick up another one at that price!

 

there are exception for every thing and I said most are not moving not that none are not moving.

check cars.com, autotrader.com, ebay TODAY then check in 1 month and you will see many of the same cars.

 

I've been watching them online since late last year when I started looking for mine. Seems like most of the great examples sell rather quickly.

There are many still available that I recognize from my initial searches last year. I inquired about a few of those cars and they had issues such as no maintenance, "lost" records, failed PPI, etc.

In my opinion there is good reason for certain cars to stay on the market for a long time.

 

i noticed that also, and know people who have had PPI done car failed nothing major but the owner wasnt willing to adjust price.

so does that make for a bad car or over priced? a car needing a major is not a bad car. most people who want to buy these car want something perfect or they consider it junk.

a car in need of "some" thing that the owner fixes or you fix is still the same car. no records is not necessarily a deal killer.

i dont need perfect , i need a good base. that way i can do the repairs and know what i have.

 

Both cars sold within 45 days of being put on the market, 97 first, 99 second. Good cars priced reasonably will sell more rapidly than average cars that are cheap. As we all know there are very few things that are more expensive than a cheap Ferrari. There seems to be a pretty wide spread on sold prices for 328s, 348s and 355s based upon records and quality.

 

Anyone about to sell their F355 GTS or know about one for sale ? I am looking for a low milage car in mint condition. Following criteria must be met:
Color: Red with black or beige interior
GTS (not Spider or GTB)
Manual gearbox
All books, papers, stamps, tools and tool bag, keys + red key etc The more the better...
Max 30.000 km, max 3 owners
No damages, no repainting

Preferred: car cover, leather bags, luggage set
Year -98 B or -99 (can accept older, but these are preferred)

If you have the right car at the right price, we can cut the deal the same day

I have considered selling mine as I have another 'fun' car and wouldn't mind freeing up some cash.

It's a 99 GTS, manual trans and just turned 23k miles. The major service was done in october of 09 with 22k miles along with quicksilver headers and exhaust.

All papers/manuals. 2 sets of black fobs keys plus red fob and keys.

Tool kit and bag, targa cover, trickle charger. No car cover.

It's red with black interior and red contrast stitching. Factory options are shields, challenge grill and red calipers.

I bought the car in december 09 for 69k as it was the nicest one I could find.

Since purchasing I have done a few things. Common coolant leak (loose clamp) in the heater box was repaired. I installed high flow metallic cats and modified the muffler so it sounds like a Capristo at wide open throttle. (relatively quiet at cruise but straight through when the bypass opens). New o2 sensors. Fixed rattling bypass valve. Rear bumper was peppered with rock chips on the area behind the rear tires so I removed it and had the front edges repainted/blended.

Runs and drives absolutely perfect. I would take what I paid for it, 69k.

There is a 1998 355 GTB with 30k miles listed on ebay for $80,000. Has this guy bumped his head hard or what ???

He is lucky to get $50k...

Not much luck yet. Too many black spiders for sale. Lots of co-signing dealer wanting the car in their showroom. Currently I have 27,800 miles. As of this week, the brakes have been replaced, the Hill replacement part has been applied to the recirculation flap. I still have the intermittent E5 issue and sticky interior. 49,900 obo. I can send maintainance records to serious out of state buyers. 25k mile service performed March of 2007.

The good news is that there are only 13 F355 for sale on eBay. It wasn't long ago where upward of 35 F355 where listed on eBay all the time.
