Concorso Ferrari in Pasadena

On Sunday, May 16, 2010 the FCA is putting on an all Ferrari show on Colorado Blvd. in Pasadena. We will be using 3 blocks of Colorado from the freeway bridge east past Fair Oaks. The streets will be blocked off. It is open to all Ferraris and cars pre 1999 will be judged (dsplay is also available) using FCA guidelines. The event is free to the public.
Honored guest will be our own Ed Niles.
There will be many vendors at the event.
Event hours are 10AM to 3PM. Car check in will be from 7AM to 9AM only.

Are the display cars allowed to leave early or are they committed to the end, 3pm? I went in 08 and I don't remember anyone leaving early. I ask because I may not be able to stay the whole duration. Thanks.

I'm definitely going (but don't own a Ferrari). Any F-chat teeshirts or badges or secret handshakes I should know about? Always nice to put faces to usernames!

Yeah, there IS a secret handshake, but if I told you about it it wouldn't be a secret.

 

does this show replace the pasadena bowl concours?
also, is the rodeo concours an fca judges event?

 

This is different from the LA Concours d' Elegance. Although, from what I understand, The LA Concours will not be held for 2010.

Not sure about the Rodeo Concours, but the Concorso Ferrari in Pasadena will follow FCA National Guidelines.

 

This Pasadena Concours does replace the one last year at the Rose Bowl (as ALSC sponsored event).
I believe it replaces the Rodeo Dr. one too.
This FCA concours is a Vagabond, with no permanent residence, often piggy-backing other events.

 

This event is put on by the FCA SW Region and follows events we have done over the years on Rodeo Dr., in Century City and in 2008 in Pasadena. It is not associated with any other event.
The Fathers Day Rodeo Dr. event is totally separate and will feature Jaguar this year.
Concorso Ferrari will be on the first three blocks of Colorado Blvd in old town Pasadena.
Check in for Ferraris is from 7AM to 9Am and the cars must stay until the event is over, around 3PM (after the Awards are given out). We have to be off the strreets by 5PM.
We have many great sponsors this year and will have a great show.

Jason, just wanted to say THANKS!!! for the amazing job you did on my 400i. It looks and feels like silk. Now the hard part is keeping it clean for pasadena this sunday! )

This event is open to the public (and free) so we'll be swarmed, I'm sure.

 

Chirs, you were backed up even at a little get together like the open house down in Newport, but it is 100% worth the wait.
