I mainly use my 360 to watch movies these days but the oddest thing happened today. I put in grand prix and within seconds the t.v. screen started to get all snowy and the 360 froze up. I know it WASN'T the t.v. because i could change the channel still without any problems and the snow went away.

Any solutions? No red Ring either, google is stumped also....

Is it connected via HDMI cable? Did you try putting in any other games or turning it on with no discs in? Xboxes are also known to overheat and do crazy things. If you can do a warranty fix then they have a new motherboard and chipset that is much more stable.

check your power pack too (or adapter, power brick, however you want to call it). Mine broke too, the fan is making a very loud noise and that was it really.

Being in Africa and not able to buy a new powerbrick let me to try and fix it myself and I quit after I electrocuted myself.

definately an overheat problem, if it is under warranty still, send it back to MS. if not, look up the RROD (red ring of death) repair, or you can find a lot of people on ebay that can fix it for you.
