The 2010 rally will leave from London on 1st May before taking in Amsterdam, Copenhagen, Stockholm, Boston, Quebec City and Toronto before rounding off in New York seven long days and nights later

Disappointed that there was a 288 GTO, F40, F50 and a Enzo, and then none of the cars are driving the course. They were lined up at the start grid, but none of them came throu here in Denmark, that's for sure.

The Chrome Italia was very nice, that's for sure. Was a Pagani Zonda F Tricolore here too, but that car did not participate either. I bit deceitful if you ask me.

Shame all the cars look like advertising hoardings. It disfigures the whole event.

entry fee is £30,000... i honestly dont blame them for the ads all over the cars. I wonder how much they get back from all the ads??

The gumballers dont get any ad money. All the ads on the cars, are Gumball advertisers, paying the organisers, not the drivers. That's why all the cars have the same ads on them. They get them at the beginning, and they have to put them on. There are some cars who have their own ads, but the majority is sponsors of the whole event.

Exactly...That how many race series are, some of the stickers are their own sponsors, but all the cars have soem of the same stickers as part of the series sponsorship...

What does the 30k go towards then? Probably a stupid question but how will the cars get to Boston and New York?

Personal opinion, Chrome on the 458 is very pretty

Whatever the reasons for the stickers it still makes what should be an awesome display into an ugly parade.

Looks like the 458 had the aluminum body polished and then clear coated. Not as shiny as chrome would have been, and prettier. Mirror polished aluminum is really attractive.

ya think? it looks like a wrap to me:) but i do think it looks wicked. however, i've seen a darker 'chrome'...more of a gunmetal chrome...now THAT was cool looking...that's how i'd wrap it:)

Usually I'm a huge fan of chromed or chrome wrapped cars, but this one doesn't excite me at all.

It was a wrap. You could actually see the red paint and the wrinkled wrap in some corners (seeing it in person).

So the exterior is orginially red? I could tell it was a wrap but I was wondering what the paint was to go along with the interior. I think the interior looks great, was hoping for a nero or silverstone exterior.

With a red interior I am surprised the car is red too I was just thinking I wonder if that car is black grey or white ( but if it was White I doubt you wouldwrap it unless to protect the paint as White makes just as much a statement as the chrome).
