what is the name of that blue color?
It looks like TdF Blue (Tour de France). There is also a Blu le Mans that is a very close shade to. TdF seems to be more popular. CH
Driving a coupe for the next 12 months or so until the Spider is available seems like a better option than a Prius...
Wow! Wonder how much they rob you for that paint job. Shame about all that crap stuck all over the cars.
That's a lovely shot. You can really see the curves and the car looks really small (and small = usable).
Yes, it should be smaller, as should the 430. I have found myself pulling my shoulders in involuntarily far too often on country roads.
It looks 'leaner', I think. And that flowing back end makes it look like it's going to go faster than a 430 even before you've turned the key.
It's very classy in TDF. Question is, do you want your 458 to be classy or a little more on your face?
I think the "pinched" center section of the car and the relatively more airy greenhouse contribute to the illusion of smaller size. There is no question that the 360/430 Ferraris have a certain massiveness to their appearance. Fred

Is it just me or are the fender lines of the 458 and the C6 Corvette quite similar? Not comparing the cars, obviously, just the rakishness of their front ends.
For some reason, yr. last photo of the silverstone nero communicates a whole lot more of the flowing design of the 458 than all the other photos I've seen. Someone once said the car has a 'spaceage' design, and the photo you've posted makes me think it looks a bit like a missle. That may not be good in a country like Lebanon, however, where I spent two years of my life during heavy fighting. Anyway, thanxs for the photo, heigtens the anticipation of my own 458 that's been ordered in an out of range paint color.
Honestly, I see no similarity at all. If anything, the 458 is one of the more uniquely shaped cars to come into the scene in some time.
i agree, the design has a 'futuristic' kind of look...but then again, 'futuristic' is relative which color did you decide on?
