what do you guys know about 'wrapping' your cars?
We use them all the time in racing. When a last minute sponsor comes on board (like a Monday and the car has to be in Texas Thur, our motorsports graphics company does the wrap up in whatever the sponsors marketing dept comes up with and our decal dept installs it. In my opinion,it is very expensive,$5-8k per car, usuall two cars (primary and back up) and after the race if it was a one race deal, rip it off and throw it away! As far as street cars go,i've seen them done and it's all in the detail of the installer,it's very tegious work cutting and triming around all the emblems and windows and if he/she is not meticulous you know what kind of a job you will end up with. This is just my experience, others may be different. B.
... and can be even more so if you don't. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/2004-FERRARI-360-CHALLENGE-STRADALE-GREAT-PRICE-VALUE-/220598251824?cmd=ViewItem&pt=US_Cars_Trucks&hash=item335cae3130
The expense of Wrapping a car depends. I have had full wraps done, and done well, for less than $600. However, the marketing I have done with them usually averages in the $1000-$1200 range, including installation. I usually end up paying $50-$100 for removal. Of course if you need a rush job, complex design, or are having it done on an unusual car that requires them designing a new template you can expect the cost to go up. That has been my experience.
mine cost 3k. no way you can get it done well for 600 to 1200 dollars Image Unavailable, Please Login
My race shop in NY Hudsonhistorics.com does wraps You can ask for Gordon or Ryan and tell them you know me
My uncle just debuted The Wraptor at SEMA this year. He just got flown out to Abu Dhabi to wrap some Ferraris and Lambos in gold, chrome and matte black. http://thewraptor.com/enter.php
was thinking maybe an all carbon fibre wrap, and then sticker the stripes back on. how bad would that look on the 360cs? would save the paint...
I can't imagine what the combination of a CS and Redbull would be like. I don't think I'd stop shaking for weeks.
my baby is now totaled. you have no idea how pissed i am. ****ing tunnel, going 25 miles an hour and hit 3 times !! so sad.
would look fking !!! sick. Me and skinzwraps have a love hate relationship but they do the best job out there and they have an insane carbon fiber wrap. if your going to do it tell them derek with the flat black 360 from nyc sent you so they give me discount on my new wrap. I am thinking about getting the black cs with the ugly it flag and having it wrapped flat white. either way would be sick in carbon. and they did the work in the above picture of my 360 in flat black. check out the cars they did in carbon. here is the link. http://picasaweb.google.com/skinzwraps/SkinzwrapsCarbon# your cs would be the shiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiit!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! and I loved the flat black vinly the up keep is amazing. just soapy water and rag micro fiber dry. no more wax and it always looks good, that alone to me is worth it.
everyone fine. wish i broke and arm or something and the car was okay. That was 2 years of work to make it look like that
I am sitting 3 feet away from a car that was just wrapped. 599 GTB - complete carbon fiber wrap. I'll put up a picture in a sec.
