    Hello

Tomorrow afternoon I say goodbye to my Aston and hello to my first ever Ferrari.

    Having difficulty sleeping.

    Any suggestions?

Why would you want to sleep? If someone were delivering a new Ferrari to me you would have to tie a tether to me to keep me from floating away.

I do subscribe to the idea of alcohol, though, but something more like a single malt scotch or twelve. Will not put you to sleep, but might distract you for a while and keep your wife from killing you and burying you in the back yard.

I think I used Gin and plenty of it.

Watching my kids be born was better ... Holding my first grandchild was better ... but NOT MUCH! Enjoy the day tomorrow! My sales guy spent an hour going over things and all I could think about was get the hell out of here and get on the road! I was lucky, I had to drive mine from Columbus Ohio to Toledo ... learning all the way! That was December and this morning I caught myself looking at the Ferrari emblem on the center of the dash and in the center of the steering wheel, still not believing I was driving my Ferrari.

Have fun ... it should be one of the best days of your life.

Post photos! Be VERY SURE to take a camera to the dealer and hand it to them to shoot pictures as you start it for the first time!!!

I was cruising today for a while with the top down jamming to Black Sabbath. There's nothing like top down Ferrari, especially a California!!!
    Enjoy it to the hilt.

    Welcome to FChat!

I usually either have a glass of Jack Daniel's, four beers, or just take one or two Benadryl and wait about an hour.

All three have about the same effect.

Be sure to post pics of the new addition when you get her tomorrow!

Stay awake and savor the moment. Sometimes actually owning something is not nearly as desirable as wanting it. I'm enjoying the wait for mine.....

Here you go. (Taken with my phone so not the best quality)

I admit, it's not the most original colour combo, but given it's my first Ferrari I just had to go for the Rosso Corsa / Crema.

Very nice. I am partial to red, any shade, myself. Congratulations. First Ferrari and a new one is pretty impressive.

Perfect! More pictures with slightly better camera, and with top down too please. There are those that would disagree but red is the ONLY color :)

I have to admit, I thought the same thing when I ordered Red/Tan. But then, it was MY RED/TAN -- and that was all that mattered to me.

Great looking machine. Drive the heck out of it.

I have Rosso Corsa. Interior is Nero (black) with special red stitching. I've always loved the combination of red stitching with black leather. It's always been my preference compared to tan, but that's me.
