I'm surprised you don't have a "beater" car or truck somewhere around there. Personally, with that collection, I would want something I could park anywhere and not worry about people dinging me, keying my paint, or backing into my bumper. While happy, I'd be really stressed having those nice vehicles as my only means of transportation. :)

And now the very tight garage that I lived with for 24 years. It doesn't belong on the same thread as the magnificent homes shown here, so my apologies! In 1977, when we moved in, I had just the green car (with the racing number 45), which through the years I restored three times (the 3rd time following a racing accident) quite happily here.

The Stratos came in 1984, so we tore down a room at the end to accommodate it. Then the other cars came, and the garage just became so packed and too difficult work in. When we finally moved, the real reason was to find a place where we could have a bigger garage. I have many happy memories puttering about in this garage.

The cars make the garage. Not vice versa;)

Jas, that is an absolutely incredible garage! Seeing that makes me want to work harder in school. I don't have a Ferrari right now, but I do have a Ferrari flag hanging in my room, which serves as a reminder of what I am working for! Again, a beautiful garage and an amazing collection of cars!

Thank you, all. They are just your standard enthusiast's cars. Nothing truly exotic, but i do like them.

Some 10 years ago, I was able to find an old house on a long strip of land that no one wanted, because of its odd shape. It was perfect for a garage that would allow 5 cars to be moved in and out without obstruction. The bonus was a separate area that could be used as a workshop. So, not worrying much about the house itself, we bought the property, redid the house, and moved.

The garage we finally built could not be deep (only 5 meters) because of setback restrictions. It is all right for older sports cars, but a little tight for new ones, which are always so much bigger. After 8 years, I decided to punch through the rear walls and build right up to the pond behind the garage. I hope it will work out well!

Andy, your setup, lighting, the whole shebang is beautiful.

What type of gravel are you using for the driveway area?

You're being far too modest. That is a wonderful selection of cars.
