Just got my 360 wheels on my recent 348 purchase. Looks OK, but as someone else noted a little 4X4 looking in the rear. Really need 30 or 35 series tires on the back, but it still looks pretty mean as compared to stock wheels (for those of you that like that kinda non-stock thing). I also have installed the husker rear LeMans grille and tail lights. Pretty much done burning cash on it for now, need to get a lift and get the belt changed.

you need a different tire size like a 35 or 40 series

The rears are 275 40 series 18" now, I think 275 or 265 35 might look a little better, problem is the pzeros on the back are nearly new, so I may burn them off a little before I spend the money on replacing them. I am thinking about machining about 3/8 inch or so off the inside of the wheels to pull them in a little, there is plenty of meat on the wheels, just need shorter lug bolts to fit the machining.

Agreed. The rear tires are the problem. Congrats on the new Fcar!

Dave, I must say I didn't realize how wide those tires actually were until that straight-on shot from the back. It does appear that they are out quite far; I would even be worried about rocks being thrown up on your quarters, since the tires are clearly protruding outside of the wells.

    BEAUTIFUL CAR. What a find!

Hideous is a bit strong. Now the stock 348 wheels...THOSE are hideous :D

Great car and love the 360 wheels...but agreed, a bit wide in the ass

I have 275 35 in the rear and they do look more appropriate, the rear wheels can also be machined down a little to reduce the track, I did not do mine either ... beautiful example and congratulation for your purchase ! You are talking about changing the timing belt ... how long ago was last major done ?

Looking very good Dave, and I love the personalized plate too :)

As for the rear tires - maybe a little wide, but more of a concern for protecting your quarters from stone chips as opposed to it being a cosmetic issue.

I have 360 Rims on my F355 Spider. I use 265/35/18 on the rears and 215/40/18 on the front. The 275 will hit the outside wheel well on a 355 when it bottoms out, not sure about the 348 clearance.

What you need to do is lower the car. They do come with coil-overs from the factory you know?

I am running with Michelin Pilot Sports:
    Fronts:
    215/45 ZR 18
    Rears:
    275/40 ZR 18

Works perfect on my car. I agree with Ernie, lower it.

    That's what I was thinking.
I have seen several 348 with 360 wheels that look awesome, so no worries. As to the 'hideous' comment, that is wayyyyyy too strong. It might not be ideal currently, but definitely NOT hideous.

Might as well have the car corner weighted when you reset the ride heights. And at this point, setting the camer and toe is an additional small pitance.
