I was really impressed by the show at Yorkville. Most memorable moment was when everyone went bonkers when the Bugatti Veyron showed up, whole street was just jammed pack. I was surprised to see a 599 GTO there with Monaco plates...beautiful.

Does anyone know what happened to the second Veyron? I thought there was two?

The event was amazing, cops were incredibly rude but that's nothing new, met a lot of awesome car guys tonight even some gumballers, just a fabulous experience.

That was great to see.Even after plans looked to have changed sadly due to uncontrollable circumstances but I made it!

Nice to see a few of the guys again today and the Veyron does not look as big in real life as the pictures make it out to be. Great times and ****ty night pics should be up sometime next week.

I had a blast down there with a bunch of friends! What a night. There was one Veyron and the 599 was NOT a GTO but instead a Novitec Rosso with Hamann Race Competition wheels ;)

What a day, great cars and a great atmosphere. Top 3 cars were in order, Bugatti Veyron, Lambo LP670-SV, Buggy. You could probably hear the Lambo's shriek when it was on Avenue from all over DT Toronto.

Anyone know why the Black Veyron did not park? And wasn't there a silver Veyron that was participating? My friend saw it on Bloor today so where did it go?

Veyron is staying at the Fairmont Royal York. ****, I don't blame him for not leaving his car there overnight.

Went out to Shannonville, great times there. Enjoyed seeing the LP640 Roadster wipe out MULTIPLE times... and even seeing the 599GTB go off the track. Kickass.

The SLR doing burnouts over and over again was priceless.

I also have a video of the LP670-SV and the Veyron revving up beside each other... then driving off. I believe the LP spun the tires and the Veyron drove off quieter than a Camry.

Nice meeting ItalianSpirit, PureEuroM3, and of course, my comrade and friend VorteC.

Another honorary sighting was PicturePerfect in his X5 stuck in traffic on Bloor. We were on foot heading to dinner at the time.

Way too many pictures to post... 600+.

Souvenirs include about 10 Gumball3000 stickers and a t-shirt. Overall, rather expensive day but was well worth it.

I know.....big frickin deal! This gumball rally thing doesn't interest me one bit.

Being from Woodbridge/Kleinburg, I see these cars all day long. The parade of exotics up and down Hwy 7 and Weston rd is actually called the "Goomba" Rally !!!

The cops and MTO guys at the meet and greet were true gentlemen doing their PR jobs and the handfull of afficionados that ended-up there were very polite and courteous. (people I wouldn't mind around or even sitting in my car)

I thought the early Gumballers were most polite and generous with their time and cars, where some (not all) of the later one were very blazen and discourteous to the police officer shoving their cameras in his face and responding in an offensive way and even to some of the fans.

So I guess goes both ways, still I wouldn't have missed and a 3 season afternoon on the 401. I would have prefered to see all of them show-up in a parade.

    OK....maybe not Veyrons.

But the espresso's are definitely better in Woodbridge than on Yorkville! :)

True, but actually there is a nice little espresso bar that opened up last year. It packs up pretty good. It's call Zizi I believe. It's on Belair.

I heard 2 cars got impounded by Fantinos boys under the racing law.
    Not sure what though.
And last night a driver got heckled by a guy in the crowd about using his cell phone while driving!

I would disagree about the cops being rude. They were extremely overwhelmed and undermanned. When you have a couple hundred car enthusiasts swarming cars its not easy maintaining control so they had to act aggressive. From what I saw there were no arrests and they didn't get physical with anyone but did lecture one young man who was making innapropriate remarks to the cop. I did find it very funny the female cop (on the bicycle with the annoying siren!) was getting soooooooo mad and it appeared she would blow a gasket at any moment! I kept laughing at her!

    I agree fully.
Early Gumballers were very polite, as were the police stationed in Yorkville. The police didn't mind the revving, occasional burnout, speeding down Yorkville ave. etc.
A few late Gumballers were visibly drunk and were making an ass of themselves -- I wish I had the "Look at me, I'm an attention whore" picture to post for effect..

All in all, I had a great time. It was nice to see all the great cars there.

    Starboy, don't kid yourself.
Kleinburg is nice, but does not have the charm (read: cachet) that Yorkville does. Granted, it has it's own appeal.

P.s. I put up a few pictures in the FC group on facebook. More to come!
