Test Drive Unlimited 2!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It seems weird to say this, but I think that Australia would be great. You have the SUVs in the Outback, exotics in the cities like Sydney, Perth, Melbourne, (PAPPY's House ), etc.

Seems like fun, but it would take a hell of a long time to cover the entire place.

It has to be another island, I don't recall LA or Monte Carlo being an island

Also Monte Carlo/Monaco is tiny. The nurburgring track is bigger! haha

While Australia is a BIG island it's the size of the USA and unlike the USA it doesnt have roads/cities everywhere so between big cities are 10hr+~ boring drives

 

Why does it have to be an island Midnight Club:LA was set in LA (obviously). Yes it wasn't an exact representation and it wasn't even the whole of LA, but it is possible.

Also when I think of Ibiza I think... Cheap night clubs/bars, drunk British people, sleazy hotels and I could go on and on and on. Hardly the place of the rich with the million pound houses and supercars.

 

Yeah, but if they made it an exact representation then you would have the hills. Also the Mountains above Monte Carlo would have been awesome.

 

Am i the only one who has noticed that there are no Ferraris in any of the videos, pictures, or anywhere on the website?

What if they don't include ferraris in TDU2

 

And what does Midnight Club have to do with Test Drive series?

2nd games in a series should follow the 1st game with improvements. Would seem silly to make it in a city when the 1st game wasn't about being in a city.

Plus why would you want a game to be in a location that has been done to death. They have done the USA with Hawaii, now it's time to do another country and Ibizia seems like a good choice. Another good one would of been Corsica or Sardinia where the millionaires go for summer.

Then what does it has to be another island have to do with Test Drive series, just because Unlimited was on an island doesn't mean they can't change it up. They had off road in the other versions, and race tracks and whatnot.

I hope the cars sound like they should do. I remember the SLR sounding more like a ferrari in TDU.

There are some very rich people in Ibiza. Valentino has (had?) a 15m Euro villa there, some mega yachts are occasionally there...

It's never been really about glamour though, and the cheap thomas cook holidays haven't helped...

Oh yes....I HATED the sounds on TDU. Along with the horrible physics, it completely killed the game for me. A CS sounded like a vacuum cleaner, the SLR is supposed to have a deep gargle and sounded like a F430. The F430 sounded like a Maserati 4200 and the Maserati sounded like a 430....It's incredibly how easily you can F up a game by making all the sounds ridiculous. The only cars I liked driving where the murcielago (basically accelerating a bit and then let it go down the revs...when it hit 4000 or so and going lower you could hear crackling in the exhaust) and the DB7 Zagato.

For the rest I hope they do SOMETHING about the physics.

It sound very good on the face of it (much like TDU...).

 

I was just joking around with your reasonings on why it HAS to be another island. No argument.

 

The weather effects will be a nice touch, and also the fact that you can buy yachts is pretty neat. Anyone know where the new location is?

That's fantastic...The bumps gave me a chronic headache after a little while. I was one of the 'beta' testers for PC, gave them a nice list about what needed changing...F all feedback so the game turned out to be ****.

I'll decide myself on the physics. They can keep arcade mode for the kids who think it's realistic, and for people who have actually driven a car, maybe physics a la forza (of course, LFS physics would be the best, but it'll NEVER happen).

 

I agree about the physics.
Ive been playing TDU lately and the physics even on hardcore piss me off.

Theres no real grip to the road. you just float around.

If the physics are amazing this will be one of my favorites.
