Interesting, two Murci spots on the same day; is there a Lambo convention in town? John H, Either (or both ) of these yours?
Sat. night I got to finally see my co-workers black Gallardo Superleggera that he's had for a year. Unfortunately it was too dark and I was too ****-faced to get a good look. I do remember that all that alcantara felt good though.
Last weekend during French Quarter Fest, near the French market was a 355 cab, I believe Mississippi plate. Just parked on the side of the road.
That is where cars normaly park , I find it more odd that it was being used as a cab . Did it have a meter on the dash ?
Black 599 turning left from Engineer's Road onto Belle Chasse Hwy at 7:30am on the westbank on Monday.
I've seen that car on the CCC before. In fact it was about 2 days after I got my M3. There I was, cruising on the bridge, thinking I was hot stuff until that beauty pulled along the side of me.
Saw a Panamera at the Beau Chene clubhouse today. First one I've seen around here. I've been seeing then in Baton Rouge a lot.
I was driving to the coffee shop to study this morning, half asleep and half dreading the day of learning Federal Jurisdiction when this came roaring toward me on the LSU campus. I get excited every time I see a red car, and 99 times out of 100 it's a Trans Am or a Mustang. Today was that other time. You can watch all the Youtube 'Enzo Exhaust' videos you want, but none of that prepares you for what it sounds like in the flesh. It's a religious experience. Thankfully my Blackberry Camera shutter didn't completely suck for once. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
For me it was just right place, right time I always see the pictures after the fact, and finally stumbled upon it. I wish they advertised better. Besides the Enzo, there was a nice Vette, a row of Mustangs, a couple Supras, and a Ford Galaxy (pretty sure).
Dark blue Cobra (assumed to be a replica) this afternoon on I10 east thru Slidell. A sliver/grey 911 turbo was a few car lengths ahead, though couldn't tell if they were traveling together.
I was vacationing in New Orleans and spotted this 355 Challenge car parked on Royal Street on Monday (5/3). It was the only Ferrrari that I saw during my five days in the area. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
The other day on Robert E. Lee I was passed by a 599 in what looked to be the exact same livery as one of the two Panamerica cars that came through town a few years ago. Here is a picture from back then. The car I saw the other day was blue but I only saw him for a moment and could be wrong about the livery. However there were definitely a lot of white decals on the car. Has anyone else spotted it or know the back story of the local car? Image Unavailable, Please Login
An S-65 parked like crap at Mellow Mushroom in BR. Same place the Yellow Lotus was seen - I go there way too often, apparently. Image Unavailable, Please Login
I really miss Biloxi...although I never saw any Lambos there, except that replica Countach in my neighborhood in Ocean Springs. Are they still holding "Cruising the Coast" down there? I remember seeing a Testarossa and a Daytona every year at that event.
Now that I'm thinking about it: the Daytona (black, convertible) was a replica with a Corvette engine. The Testarossa (red) was real. They both had the same owner, who lived in Gautier. Older guy, very nice. I was around age 12 back then and I'm pretty sure that was the Testarossa was the first Ferrari I sat in.
OMG you saw an enzo! I would have peed my pants. I saw a pearl colored convertible Maserative off St. Charles yesterday. They were filming a movie and it was parked up around it all.
