Man you're keen. I only live 2 hours away, can get seats in Ducati stand and I can't be stuffed!
I used to do it in Fogarty WSB days, all too hard with rug rats etc now.

Was thinking about it, but 1600km's on my GS500E ... hmmm not sure if it's worth it.

I recently did this trip for the PI classics and that was most definitely worth it!!!

I crashed on my first trip/last trip to the WSB and due to concussion was watching the race whilst wanting to vomit. Nothing puts a crimp on a holiday like crashing before you even get there! News of my crash even spread a few towns as the pub we stopped at for lunch knew of my accident before we even arrived :) I'm aching to do the ride and complete it this time.

Might 'not' be on 2 wheels? Or do you mean 'might' be on 2 wheels? I didn't think you had a bike at the moment?

It's always worth it unless you are on a 250cc lol.

oops badly worded.. not on bike atm, and might NOT have one in time is what I meant to say.

Not all bad. Could get couple interested passengers and take the "skyline taxi" or something lol.

LOL i'm not sure what the go is with that. It's just a pic from the internet of the fairings that i grabbed. I'm still not entirely sold (my wife loves them). I really like the Repsol stuff but it'd look crap without orange wheels to match.

I thought for couple seconds "Morris 1100" as has that kind of same rear end look but then thought "nah" not that one..

I thought the post was from groper's bike here in OZ hence wondered at the car makeup in the background!

I've been looking at the alpinestars track pants for the jacket but they are 450 shipped.

For that money I might aswell buy a 1pc suit and be done with it??

    Very decent French MotoGP..

*Huge* battle for 3rd place with 3 contenders on final lap.. pity car racing can't ever seem to provide the same spectacle.. or personalities.

Jorge is a classic. Extremely talented. Massive ego. Entertaining. Everything you want from a superstar.

WTF was up with Stoner? 2 crashes in 3 races but this time the rear slipped out? He still has good pace but has lost his mojo. I'd like to see him race for Yammy or Honda.

Did anyone watch the moto2 race? 25% of the field wiped out in crashes lol. I don't know whether it was the control Dunlop tyres or the fact these bikes are prototype machines but it was mass carnage. Elias rode a brilliant race and won.

Simon (2nd place) was drifting into the corners like a madman. He was bordering on stunt riding into a few of the tight turns, unreal to watch and brilliant bike control.

    Is that confirmed now?

I thought it was still just talk at that stage and nothing confirmed?

Stoner on a Yammy = Unstoppable?

Stoner on Honda = better than a Ducati but not as good as a Yammy?

I was told last week letter of intent signed.. The quicker he gets off that dog the better their lost the plot!!! what about putting stronger handlebars on so when they throw down the road they can still ride it WTF they would be better off putting training wheels on it.

Stoner's problems are in his head not with the bike. He's lost his confidence and now over riding the bike, which means too many offs.

He is extremely fast but needs to finish races ...
