Is she fully spec'd out or still a lot of design/engineering development needed? Congrats on this new journey becoming reality!
A lot of work still to do. The first step will be stripping her down and getting chassis hard points. We have tons of P 4/5 data that will help but this car will have different dimensions to fit the 430 Wheelbase and FIA requirements. Thanks 2 All!
wow! big news, Jim very cool. can't wait to cheer you guys on. will Cameron be driving? or just his friend Ferris?
The team that will provide racing services has a lot of experience at the Ring and will be helping us to find drivers. From what I understand the best Ring Drivers are locals who really know the Ring. While this will be a serious effort it's in the spirit of Privateers who stood in the rain and had a good time. I'm looking forward to using the Stop Watch I recently bought at auction that was used in the Movie Le Mans. One thing I'm very serious about, you only Live once, and I really hope a lot of Ferrari Chatters will join us at the Ring next year to watch us race.
No easy task. All that in about a year. Very impressive! Aside from photos, are you working on a video documentary throughout the whole process? From street to track & back. Cheers
Is the only reason you are basing this off of a Scuderia rather than a Challenge is the ability to register it on the street after the race?
So will the P4/5C be smaller than the P4/5? Directly scaled reductions in size? All the best, Andrew.
Very nice, Looks like the car is probably going to be about 25-30% of the outlay. There is much work to be done as well as many checks to be written. Best of luck, can't wait to watch the story unfold
Dare to dream, but I keep envisioning something like this as a befitting journey of "C" http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VyM4ntqjxIs
