Yes, the Portofino was the inspiration for the early Intrepids. The car is a little smaller and a lot lower, buy sooooo very cool! I also saw, but was forbidden to photograph, the first Viper show car and first production Viper as well as many famous race winning Vipers, a mid 60's Turbine car (they started this car for me too... WOW!!!), the 2 seat rear engined Intrepid show car that was the inspiration for the Stealth, some PT Cruiser show cars, Thunderbolt, Jeepster and way too many others to remember. Wish they had let me take photos.
