There shouldn't be any grinding/crunching sound when shifting and with clutch full in. I can shift from 3rd to 6th with no crunch whosoever (only when the box is warm!). How about your downshifts? I would think that it is more taxing on the gearbox than upshifts.
It's the same watch facelifted over & over again...... nice find though. I'd prefer winding up my fusee chained pocket watches for a few zeros lesser
Dude, wide is great for street photography & architectures or scenery but a tad too boring sometimes. Didn't u have an SLR last we met? I brought along 4 lenses+tripod on this EU trip. Not advisable unless u have your own transport! The new Nikon 16-35mmVR F4 is very nice.
Derek, brake disc set with calipers can be very heavy even if it's CCBs. What's the total crated weight?
He could be right. Have u drained the oil from your trans & look for metal bits? Otherwise, just get your local trans specialist to have a look @ it. Should be quite affordable to fix some new gears
Yup, I still have the D700. But don't plan to lug it around for the trip... therefore bought something smaller!
ouch! that's gonna hurt then ... as a mute point, if he can't afford the excess, perhaps he shld not be driving ... & certainly not to sepang & back ...
none of u r able to talk sense into the fella? i mean, what justifiable excuse can he have for not accepting his fault in the collision?
