It sounds like a similar but different story. What annoyed me most were the lies. 1. my brakes arrived Saturday morning & I had 1 missed call from them to "authourise" the GST as it's over their 1k limit. I called back but no answer so had to wait until Monday mrng. 2. I spk to them Monday & they say they called me "repeatedly" on Saturday which they didn't, & but promised delivery Tuesday mrng. 3. Chng their website yesterday I see it is sent for delivery at 9:30 & mid afternoon the status changes to say "reciever refused delivery". I call them immediately to be told Ital wudnt accept it. 4. I blow a fuse at Ital who claim UPS never came & I spk to UPS agn questioning their story. 5. Online status changes to delayed with previous update deleted, & service manager calls to me cfm that he box NEVER left their depot; the online updates were not true; delivery was never attempted & UPS are useless. I honestly cannot believe that they not only lied outright, but also put erroneous updates on the tracking website abt he status. Ok rant over.
While I'm sympathetic that this guy has been rear ended, should he even be on the track or on the road for that matter if he cannot afford to pay the excess? Plus there's always the possibility that he may total his car on the track, then what will he do?
If you think about it... If even F1 drivers crash, then we mere mortals are definitely just walking time bombs
I'd like to think that us mere mortals drive within the limitations of both ourselves & our cars. Have you tracked before Daniel? Once you do you'll understand why we do it
Yeah it looks very similar to their first design, albeit with additional Ferrari touches here and there..
Although I have not had the chance to deal with UPS before, this is totally unacceptable to me. There is a complete lack of business ethics, heck even morals.
chill mate ... ups r as bad as they get ... they make u pull yr hair out ... but u can't relate to that ... hope u get yr box soon tho ...
cmon mate ... these things DO happen, both on & off the track ... that's why they're called accidents ...
Yes I have, but never in Sepang, I really really want to go there!!!! Tracking is always an absolute blast!
I don't think we can look at it that way as F1 drivers are pushing the car all the time. We don't need to drive it to the limit.
