Yes you can....Dave Fizer the co-host of this event is working with the Heros helping Heros foundation to bring in Sponsors. Every sponsor dollar goes to the foundation. We currently have two generous sponsors who are paying all the expenses of the event including food for the participants. So every dollar raised by sponsorship will go direct to the charity. Plus its a "Friend Raiser" which means by promoting the event we are raising awareness of the foundation and its mission. Thanks for your inquiry. Jon in Delaware

Well, that's just not fair...with your stable of cars, you would have to drive 24 hours a day to meet his criteria!

I vote we add up all the miles you have driven together on ALL of your cars, and if you make the cut we should than take a vote on which one you bring to the rally.

I have a hunch you will be dusting off the F40 :)

Not true I know from personal sources that you have over 3000 miles on the Scuderia. As a LATE DELIVERY 2008 that must qualify you....RIGHT? Plus you get 10 miles of street mileage credit for every TRACK MILE you drive and that accumulates to a lot of Street miles on the Scud. (Small print in the rule book) HECK I HAVE PUT 2000 MILES ON MINE AND HAVE ONLY OWNED IT FOR WHAT 3 MONTHS. Plus you have five more months to accumulate miles. You are in with at least the Scud. The rest of the stuff you have is arguably "Garage queen " material.

Out for this one---Kids and two full time jobs take up too much time to get the required mileage.... Average about 1,100 miles each year since I got it....

Several people have asked about the event and the thread fell into the fchat waste basket so I am reserecting the thread. Sponsorship is going well under the direction of Dave Fizer. Thanks to him we now have a Trophy sponsor and a food sponsor. We have an additional category for the event. In the theme of "Driven to Excellence" there will be an award for the driver who can document he/she has given the most ride alongs. So photograph your sharing the car with others by giving rides in your car and win the award!

I have given a lot of ride alongs, but I know I'll never win the trophy. Every time I see Joe M. he has a different older mustached muscle bound "lady" with him. I flinch every time I see one of their massive wrinkled muscle bound heads threatening to rip through the roof of his Scuderia as they sit with their arms out the window and knuckles dragging along the ground. I don't know what exactly is going on, but it's like he is sponsoring the 1976 East German Olympic Swim Team. If you count those as "ride alongs" then I am not playing!

    :) :) :)
