Poor braking power due to pump for a "new" car? That's a 1st for me! Is it the same pump as that of a regular F430 or one with higher PSI to operate those fancy CCBs, u can chk with the F430 or technical section. One would expect a brake pump to be available anytime from the factory. Does anyone know if production line for all F430 variants are stopped?

I would check the part# then check with UK, Eurospares or Ricambi. It should be on the table within 2 weeks. Heck, they can even yank one out of a breaker within a few days!

Could it be simple thing like seizing brake lines or fluid acting up? Hi-temp fluids need to be flushed more often than usual.

looks like bento lunchbox time... again.

actually been driving the bento box all week and realise I hate it, and I mean detest it, for daily driving.... both for the bengness image and the fact it feels like its going to fall apart at any moment... but throw it on a track and i am all smiles again. Am back to the BMW this morning... what a breath of fresh air.... wow...

So to qualify, the car has to be from the 50s' era? Driving those cars can be a bit of a pain after this new, comfy era that we are used to. My ex-MGA had no syncro on 1st gear, no side windows and the roof took 15mins to raise, not to mention running around both sides of the car to do it.

Oh and BTW, you forgot that Italian girls are like pasta. Great to eat when fresh but they get soft and soggy when time takes over!

Also much cheaper for us to source parts from UK/EU! Anyway, UPS didn't screw me (not yet) as screens are in (hope not in a thousand pieces) and should be delivered today.

Is it normal for the bull's clutch to give way so soon? Esp when the clutch change is such a big job? At least the 355's engine stays in for the clutch change!

Talking about CF parts, you guys know (of course you do!) where I can get a local CF guy to do an overlay for my gear shift panel? Mine broke so I need to match the weave of the new one against the rest of the centre console. Thanks in advance.

Poor braking power? I sort of thought that the 599 also had less than impressive brakes, but I thought the car was just supposed to be like that.

I thought the clutch was supposed to last longer on manuals than the e-gears?

Exactly! In fact if you don't abuse the clutch, it should last very long in a manual.

With 61,941 replies and 1,676,050 views, it's always amusing to see how the original question - "Any Singapore Ferrari owners?" - has been answered many times over.

More importantly, it's important to fulfill ambitions . . .
Since we're all experts on the second paragraph, in regards to the first, I'll see if I can nudge a Mille-xpert or two or three this way.
