True indeed. But I have to think we are nearing the bottom?!? How much lower can/will the CS market go?

I know a guy who just recently sold his non storied CS. Unbelievably clean, 7,000 miles, great options, no stripe, never tracked. Sold it for $125,000.

I think you're 15-20k too low on that one.

Btw: interesting how many active threads there are on the CS considering there really aren't that many around (comparitively).

i paid $136-139k for mine, depending on whether you count the cost of ppi and yearly service i did on it right away. 13k miles. a few stone chips, but otherwise perfect. newish tires, and belt service a year away. and i thought i stole it since in my market the next one was 20k more with 10k miles.
but if good ones are getting below 100k in the usa, it almost seems worthwhile getting another over there. after all, there arent that many and there arent that many good ones.

i would say the guy that sold for 125k just wanted to sell it and knew he couldnt get more. the same cs's are for sale today as 6 months ago basically with none moving. i would say he was smart enough to realize it.

how many of stokpros list of cars have sold? none with more added or the cars swapping dealerships hoping for new blood.

Ross only one cs is under 100k and almost all are priced 129k and up.

Very few have actually sold (to end users) and several have been taken off the market. Few months back there was a CS that SOLD for less than $100k and it had less miles then the black with Italy flag.

Ross, I'd say you did pretty well. Maybe you couldve squeaked a couple of bucks more. However, I've tried to make this point on Fchat before. To be buying and driving the cars we do, we have significant wealth. Obviously, to have such wealth we must have a certain amount of business sense. When it comes to the purchase of a ferrari, I wish guys would stop trying to make the transaction an exact equation involving logic. It isn't. I see so many guys standing on "principal" over a $5 or $10k difference between seller and buyer on a car they really want to buy or sell. Make your best run at it and get as close as you and then say "f&@$ it"!! Seriously, $5 or $10k and some of you guys squabble like my grandmother does at Red Lobster during lobster week!

Wake up. Life is shorter than you think. Blink and I could be gone.

$125K is a good number for a guy to clear selling a CS right now. If outfits like MCI, Ferrari Long Island, Miller Motorcars, Ferrari Silicon Valley, etc. are ASKING an avg. of $139K or so for avg. mileage CS's and they're not moving quickly, where does that leave the guy who owns a CS and is looking to sell? One would be lucky to get $125K. For those who do not or will not ever sell, doesn't matter if it's worth $125K or $25K, same difference.

For some of (us) buyers, it's not the $5k-10k, it's finding exactly what (we) they want. For those who just want a CS for the sake of having one; where color, options, mileage, history is not of concern then have at it, there are 46 to choose from.

Go to Sports Car Co. site and check it. $99.5k. The other sub $100k CS sold months ago. It didn't need to be advertised to be swooped up in a hurry. There's an Fchatter who is on/off about selling his rosso scuderia CS w/ 12k miles for low $120k's.... maybe he'll chime in.

I post of no falling prices Nerd..the sky has fallen on these things.......I've been telling these guys to buy these cars before summer hits. Stokpro is correct it's a matter of buying the right one for you. These cars have all stalled now and are sitting idle in several locations. Most likely the sellers have hit bottom and buyers have dissappeared.

If you don't have one it's time to buy with almost 40 to choose from the right cars are ripe for the taking.

Nerd the buyers have to take the "rational" out of this high end purchase and buck up and get one. You also have to agree that the Sellers must also look at demand sometimes and stop thinking a new ultra rich "non" picky buyer will fall out of the word work. It's just not going to happen.
