I'd personally go for a Carrera GT but that's just my Biased opinion, both phenomenal cars.

Only M.Y. 2004 and 2005 Carrera GT's came to North America, 2006 was only for R.O.W. cars. I think I know someone trying to sell a Black/black 05, I will find out for you.

Check autotrader.ca ; there are few SLR available out there and a CGT at high price. Good luck on your search

I just found out the car already sold.

It might be beneficial to check out which cars are available in the US as well, there is a very fine Black/Black 2005 for sale in florida by a private owner with 1826 Miles.

    PM me for more info.

Yes - I m looking to USA as well

I do think the CGT is a cut above the SLR but its also 100K more... so it should be.

SLR prices never really held well as they produced too many cars and couldn't sell them all, and they have all now taken even a bigger hit with the release of the SLS.

I hope you can find the perfect CGT :) It's the right choice and true drivers car! There is nothing like the sound of that howling V10!

I'd definitely take a CGT. My buddy told me there's a few SLRs at garden motorcar for low 200's is what I think he said.

They've dropped from $250,000 to low $200's in the past two weeks alone!(SLR'S)

    ....What Vasco said.......:)

I would take a CGT over and SLR any day. SLR = CL65, just bigger and badder. Not worth the $250k IMO.

funny i just watched one of TG's clarkson movies where he compared both the SLR and CGT. In the end he stated that the CGT was great for blasting around a track and weekends. But for everyday capability he'd go for the SLR. I'd choose the CGT for what its worth.

since your looking in the usa as well

sorry, but you obviously have no experience with either cars (CL65 and SLR).

CGT and SLR are very different cars. if you're looking for a daily driver/practical supercar, go for the SLR. They're pretty reliable but service can get expensive just like any other supercar out there.

CGT is a pain in the ass to deal with in city driving/daily basis, but I'd say it's a more desirable car to own. it may end up being a garage queen though. As we can see many CGTs in market with less than 5K on odo.

Aw... HELL no. You did NOT just say the SLR is a CL65 but 'bigger and badder'. I've driven a CL65. I wouldn't drive one if someone came and abandoned it on my driveway with the title and keys.

The SLR, however, is a PHENOMENAL vehicle. I'd trade VorteC's left nut to the devil to own one. ;)

$50,000 to do the brakes expensive.(SLR)

Whatever Donnie ends up with will in no way whatsoever end up a garage queen.

He's just decided about two hours ago that he wants black...kind of had a feeling it would go that way.

It's just too sexy in black to pass up!

    Cheers
