I was just giving the car a final hoover befor the dads day out and my alarm went off.

All the key fobs are working but none will reset the alarm . The door locks still work when the alarm is going off.

I,ve only managed to stop it by operating the battery isolator and then some seconds later it stops.

I've even managed to start the engine with the alarm sounding which makes me think there is a quite a problem.

I left it completely alone for 30mins just in case the CPU was confused and needed time to reset but as soon as I switch the isolator on again off it goes. (Really noisy ).

If I cant get it sorted then I wont be alble to drive at the dads day out.Is there secret reset button or proceedure. I have no idea what type of alarm systenm I have except its Fcar noisey.

    Any sugesstions gratefully accepted.

    Rob

Not sure this is your problem but it is probably worth a try. Most problem with the alarm is related to the siren placed under the left fender.

This is no fix but it might help you drive the car. Remove the under tray plate just under the fender, think it is 5 nuts holding it. Find the siren and disconnect the wire going into it. This will silence the alarm but locking and driving the car works fine. Get a new siren or get it fixed, might just be the batteries. make a search on this forum plenty of info about the siren. Same problem on most Ferraris...

Aha, it is good to read the manual once in a while, right ;-)
