Oh so you are saying they come with the GT badge? It looked as though the guy put it on himself to pimp out his ride! I couldn't help but stare at one of these going by me the other day and thought how hideous.

I own a BMW, and am still ashamed to acknowledge the X6 and 5 series GT Wagon.

The X6 (aka Pontiac Aztek GT-R) and the 5 Series GT (aka Dodge Magnum Wagon Euro Touring Edition) and the new 7 Series (aka K-19 Russian Submarine) are very, very bad. No wonder MB is doing so well, they barely have any competition!

Lol! I never noticed the X6 looking like a Aztek! hahaha..

You know if you just de-badge a Honda Accord Crosstour and threw up a few BMW logos and the grill...well you get the idea!!

Have you driven the X6 or the new 7?

I haven't driven the 5-series GT and am still bamboozled as to why BMW keeps coming out with new "niche" models, but the F01 7-series is easily the best 7 to date.

I'm a sucker for the X6 though; albeit the X6 M is terrible.

Yes, I have driven a new 7 series...and it is fantastic. But it still looks like a WWII torpedo!

I think this thread would a lot more interesting if you guys where posting pictures of cars when you can. Listing them see's very pointless. Just my two cents

    i tend to agree

this thread is a parody of itself - car fans listing names like train spotters.

I check in to see if there is a photo of something interesting.

Also some of the "spots" arent really exotics even - just regular cars.

No....it looked like a mechanical problem. There were no police, just the tow truck and the Lambo driver looking under the hood. :(

Agreed. Requirements for "spotting" should be that they must include photos. The continuous posts listing different cars of various colour combinations gets to be numbing.

You know what they say "a picture says a thousand words".
