How do u ever control yourself?! Did u mean 220km/h or was it 120mph??? Yes sensei, I shall not try it again, my attempts seem to be futile. Patience is the word I shall subscribe to for the time being.
Alamak, want to go for a quick drive across the border? 1hr will do but stay off my back! Gosh! 13DBS???
Porsche pccb needs a very vigilante bed in process. Using the pagid p50 green pads with pccb as many do on their gt3s gives further enhancement. But i am sorry, I disagree with your comment. I have a couple of friends that run pccb and it's not for just driving the streets but hitting the track very regularly, and can assure u the difference is not in any way marginal if u have not cycled your pccb adequately. Maybe if u are cruising Singapore u won't notice the difference. But I assure u, stomping on the brakes at 230kmh at the end of turn 14 won't make u think the difference between a properly bedded in set of Porsche pccbs is minor compared to a non bedded in set, more so after 7 laps of stomping the brakes...
some r born with the force ... some achieve it in their lifetime ... yet others have it thrust into them ...
Mate, as sf said it's like mating the disc to the pads. When disc and rotors are both new the process must be adhered to even more as the discs need to form a consistent surface the full way around and the pads not only need to do this but as mentioned earlier need to be heat cycled properly together with the discs to ensure longevity and better performance. If not u can end up with vibration and oscillations when braking hard due to uneven disc and pad mating or at the very least an inefficient surface area contact patch between the discs and the pads. If you are just changing out the pads then your bed in is less obvious. As far asi am concerned though, bedding in does not need magic speeds and numbers. What it does need early in the life of the discs and pads is to start off with gradual braking but then work up within the first 100 odd kms to faster speeds and harder braking. It's all about variation and allowing your brakes to be exposed to a variety of conditions.
Can I do shifts with him? I'd work for 1 chapatti and cai 2 times a day.. ..U do realise what he just asked u right?..read a few posts back!!
