    Can anyone recommend a mail-order place (Going to Canada, so close to the border would be good).

    went with top google listing on line. 235/305 19's came to just under $1400 with shipping.

    just switched to the r8's from mpsc and cannot believe difference in comfort on the street! i can actually use the sport suspension setting whereas with mpsc it was barely usable even on the track. will have to wait till end of month to see how they are on track though

    there is no mpsc or r8 runflat tire. same for all the r compound tires i believe

    IEdit - sorry I just read your post correctly. Well i guess its good news that the R888s run well, Im putting a set on today. Would assume that they would run stiffer, I hear they are noiser.

    Not sure that you can get them 'cheap' anywhere. I think 1400 is a decent price. I think I paid a little more for mine and they were pretty difficult to get at the time.

    BTW, not sure what you have now, but yes, R888's are pretty loud. If you drive with music, no problem, but just a heads up.
