Last night out of the blue my wife told me that she's going to buy me any Hotwheels Elite of my choice for my birthday. So I jumped off my seat and asked, " Are you sure?" She said yes, but just one car...!
Now since the 1:18 458 Italia elite will not be out for awhile I have these two choices in mind.
    1. 1:18 Elite Ferrari Challenge Stradale
    2. 1:18 Elite Ferrari Mondial 3.2

As you can see I want both but I only can get one. I need you guys help on which one is the better buy. Which one is more appealing, which one looks better ( exterior & Interior ) which one is the best model in your opinion?

Is there anyone here a collector who has these models that want to post a close up picture of both cars? If you don't have both just post one picture and tell me what you like about the model, and what you don't like on the model?

Thank you so much guys. As a fellow collector I need your inputs too. ALOHA!

If you own a Mondial, the Mondial. If not, the Stradale.

I know people love them, and that is great, but to me the Mondial hasn't aged nearly as well as a Flock Of Seagulls haircut...

...of course if I could get any Elite for my birthday I'd be wantin' the 60th Anniversary issue of the 166MM. It's out of print and can be hard to find, but hey, it's my favorite Ferrari and it's my birthday...

They are both great models mate. :D:D

I have the Elite Mondial. Its very nice. :):)

I have the stock CS. Both are fantastic!! I would probably get the Elite Mondial first. It looks cool. :D:D

The Elite CS isnt that much an improvement over the stock CS. I aint wasting my money chasing an Elite one. ;);)

No pics sorry, models packed away at the moment. :D:D

Well I have the Elite Mondial (not the 3.2) and the Elite CS. I would go for the Mondial 3.2 - so it's not the most desirable Ferrari but as a model it looks great and is a better model than the Elite CS. I was underwhelmed by the CS - not much better than the regular HW CS and the disc brakes don't even rotate!

Just forget those two models and ask your wife if she can get something for you on eBay.
I would go for 1:18 elite F430 Scuderia or 599 GTB or Enzo. I think those are better looking models.

Woops! Then I would go for 1:18 Elite Ferrari Challenge Stradale. I hope you will make right choice. Good luck

I have pretty much everything Ferrari made in 1:18 and I have to say that the 360 Challenge from the Elite series is one big disappointment as a model. They fixed some of the issues of the non-Elite model, but it is still full of mistakes and inaccuracies.
On the other hand the Elite Mondial is in my personal opinion one of the best models HW has ever made in the Elite series, together with the 430 Superamerica and the 246 Dino. If I was getting a choice of Elite Ferraris as a present, these would be the only 3 I would chose from
