i recently attended the BACE private jet expo in geneva with a private banker friend who specializes in jet purchases, and it was amazing. everything was there - everything. i think my favorite tho was the gulfstream 5 though. i like the oval window - makes the compartment feel airy. but if it were my money, i would buy the piagio avantair. btw, no idea if i am identifying these planes correctly, doing it all from memory...

Wouldn't it make much more sense to buy a second hand, relatively new (late 80s > now) boeing 737 for about 5m USD, convert it into a much more spacious machine? You could even get a bedroom in there...

Not sure but IIRC a 737 only needs a couple hundred more feet for take off/landing than something like a G5...correct?

Isn't that like saying, "$300 grand for an F430? Couldn't you just buy a Mondial and
pick up some nice cup holders, attach some imitation flappy paddles and do a set of
after-market wheels and have a much more spacious machine? The Mondial only
needs a few more feet for acceleration and stopping, correct?" :D :D :D

Falcon 7x wins in any such debate, me thinks... no offense to John Travolta :D

The problem with a 737 or other airliner class aircraft is that it often exceeds the weight limits of smaller airports, and thus you're limited to going to big, airline-oriented, airports.

And, in Europe, I believe ATC fees are based on weight, and while they are insignificant in comparison to the capital involved, they do add to the annual operating budget.

The 7X is a wonderful compromise-- light enough to get into just about anywhere you'd want to go, yet big enough to be comfortable.

I hope a passenger on the plane rips the most disgusting fart ever somewhere over the ocean and you can't escape! :) Congrats.

    Lol! Thanks mate! :D:D

Can you have a Falcon 7 fly into Mount Isa, pick me up and fly me to the Factory and back? It has to seat at least 6 people. :D:D

A Falcon 7 would me worth more than Mount Isa itself!:eek:
