    Hey guys,

I figured I get enough newsletters from this site to bother me every month, I might as well post one myself here to return the favor :)

I am a member of Rutgers Formula Racing at Rutgers University. Our student organization's goal is simple; to compete against other colleges from around the world in the annual FSAE by engineering, fabricating, and ultimately racing an open cockpit formula style race car.

I thought of posting this on other site's first , but our car is red and red looks best on a Ferrari ! I would love to have a Ferrari logo on there.

We are a non-profit organization and the school does not help us as much as we need , therefore we depend mainly on our sponsors every year. We are currently looking for sponsors for the 2010-2011 season. Let me tell you that All donations are TAX-Deductible.

    Advertisement placement is as follows:

Up to $500 .................. Small company lettering
Up to $1,000 .................. Large company lettering
$1,000 to $2,500 ............ Company Logo on side
$2,500 to $4,000 ............ Company Logo on nose, framed photo and team sweatshirt
Over $4,000 ................... Company Logo on Top of Nose, framed photo, team sweatshirt and private driving exhibition.

Just a suggestion, having your first post be soliciting sponsorship is probably not a good idea.

Second, there are many schools who have a Formula SAE team. I would think the only potential sponsors would be in the NJ area or alumni. There is a region-specific section that you may have more luck. But doing so in this manner will be unproductive.

See below (or above depending on how you choose to see it;)).

And saying because you receive a Newsletter each month "you might as well return the favor" just isn't a valid reason.

    I appreciate the suggestions.
This is my first post but I have been here for a long time, I have noticed the attention towards Rutgers and the Rutgers Football team so I decided to inform the people of the resources available at Rutgers towards race car building.

We have sponsors from as far as California , Texas and Ohio ... Why limit it to NJ , right?.

Additionally, the "returning the favor" comment was obviously a joke.

I'd be happy if an admin would move this thread to the appropriate section.

    Thank You
