Jaguar E-Type with the top down in Oakville. Also, me and my other East Indian friend decided to choose a TD bank on Trafalgar to stop and take a leak today. Apparently an East-Indian guy called and made threats to the very same bank about an hour earlier. Detectives detained us and asked us questions. Nice. With my luck, my second job is WITH TD Canada Trust and I had to have a call going out to TD headquarters from my cell phone (which they checked) an hour earlier. Luckily my manager verified my story.
Yup. The SLR and Rolls were on my way into the office around ~5:30PM... the rest were on my way out around 9:15. The only cars I've seen this morning are my neighbors' Accord, Mazda3, Dodge Ram, E38 7, W140 S, and my mom's Camry Hybrid parked outside. Been working from home today.

seriously, what's the point of listing the cars you saw that day if you don't have pictures? People post every day with a huge list of cars, anyone can see those cars, and its pointless to read a list, much more interesting to see pictures. Does anyone care that today I saw a continental gt, 599, SL65, continental gt speed, etc. etc.??? Didn't think so... As has already been said, don't post a list of cars you saw, especially if they were seen in Yorkville, that's like listing the cars you saw in the showroom at FOO... no pictures, no care.
I for one enjoy going through this thread and looking at what people have seen in and around the city, and I am sure there are many others just like me who also enjoy doing so, judging by the large amount of users who list spottings in this thread everyday. However, if you take a look at the very first post that started this thread in the first place by Vasco, he clearly did not post any pictures of his "spottings". Thus, it is quite evident that listing what one saw during the day is perfectly acceptable. However, this does not mean that I am against pictures as I too like you prefer to look at pictures rather than text. Personally, I try to take pictures of cars I deem appropriate for this thread as often as I can. I feel that we should encourage pictures but not force them upon users altogether. Furthermore, I believe that an "only pictures" thread would drastically reduce the amount of activity on this thread, a notion that I would not be very pleased of. If you are still not convinced, no one is forcing you to look at this thread.
Ah, c'mon Liquidsilk...don't drag me into this Ok, i'll make up for it. Here is a nice and clean 360 Spyder complete with modular wheels quietly buzzin' through traffic thursday evening (Sans Tubi) Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Do you know what the general market is now on the 360? I know it's been said before that these cars are everywhere, but I never really noticed it until yesterday. I wasn't going to post anything seeing as how we're on this "post if you have a picture" bit, but I saw 6 360's yesterday alone, in Woodbridge only. I was amazed by it, guided 2 of them were ones I quite often see, but still! 4 Red, 2 Yellows and of those 4 of them were Spiders. I would never say these cars are like civics or anything, a Ferrari is always a Ferrari, an accomplishments of sorts and, for some people, a symbol of achievement. I just haven't ever seen that many 360's in one local area before! I also saw an orange Gallardo, a dark gray AMV8 Vantage, silver R8, red 308, black/red 911 GT3 RS, red NSX and red 355 Spider. And a quick comment on the picture issue, I love seeing local exotic pictures as well and I try to post as many as I can, but in my case I'm usually seeing these cars as I'm driving myself, and 80% of the time I can't just whip out a camera and take a picture of a car especially if it's going the other way. The lists do get tiring, especially the Yorkville ones, but if that's all we get then as it was mentioned earlier, this thread would have significantly less posts in it.
I completely agree with you that posting a photo of a car is always better than naming it in a list, but, at the same time, you have to keep in mind that it may not always be possible to get one of every car you see for some reason or another. As for cars in Yorkville, most of the time, they're the same ones. An Arancio Gallardo Spider or the dark-grey R8 4.2 I saw (again) on Thursday, for example. They're great cars, sure, but how many times have you seen one in that colour or that car in the area? It gets to the point that, as was the case for me then, I couldn't be bothered to take another photo of either of them. Particularly as I was saving space on my memory card for later in the day. I would have liked to get a photo of the Bianco LP640, though. I always seem to end up just missing it and it's one hell of a car!
So 16,000 post later there is a lot of naming there. I don't think there are that many cars worth spotting. When I joined I thought I would get value of a Post from my province. Now I only look at it once a week..... FWIW, I had more pleasure out if the Gumball thread. my 2 cents Denis
