Sorry Pap, That might be crossing the line a little as the model was only 16 or 17 at the time. We were actually told that Ralph doesnt allow any other pictures to be taken at the shoot, even though they didnt say anything to me on the day. You would want me to get in trouble, would you !!! Dont forget, Ferrari drivers are gentlemen, well most or some of us. If I was a Porsche driver then I would probally post them for ever one to see (lol).
Well the typical cover of "fast fours and rotaries" et al is a good hint for starters lol... but on the net, so far, in this country, pretty much anything goes so knows what you might find..
The other day on Toorak Rd, they drove too fast to get pics, but saw [107] on a Bentley (Azure?) and get this ... [50] on a Smart car!
Seen this car [WAG] around a few times now, probably driven by a footballer's wife! Also [440] today. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Regarding that first pic, I had a similar idea back when I had the Vette. http://users.tpg.com.au/jpmccabe/roxy.jpg Everyone had the girl doing the typical lean over/on the car thing, thought that was more fun. Also, not sure if this is cool or tool, but I now have "OZ848" on the Ducati.
Upcoming Shannons auction has a few Victorian 3 digit plates on offer, they are: [153] estimated $85-100k [208] 80-95k [213] 80-95k [315] 50-80k [654] 50-75k [724] 40-70k [842] 40-70k as well as [1328] and [2216] est at 16-24k each. Interesting to note that [171], [172] and [173] all sold for 100k each and [754] at 58k a few months ago. Looks like the market has eased somewhat?
My heritage plates have performed better than any of my other investments over the 10 years I have had them. Not convinced the next 10 years will be the same!
Not at the moment, market has come back a touch. Looking for a well priced low 2 digit at the moment.
Good one! I LOVE those plates, well the Q plates in QLD anyways. I would love to collect them also, but they are out of my league of course. But it would nice to have one though.
as a mate of my said, whom lives in Toorak, its like street address's there is Toorak and there IS toorak,he reckons anything over 99 is a joke.
I have been contemplating getting a personal plate for my bike. I was thinking 'SAINT' or 'S8NT' if the former is taken already. Would you consider that plate 'cool' or 'tool'. Not sure which bike it would go on. Either the Ducati S4R or an MV Agusta F4.
S8NT's available only.. what's the logic behind the choice if I can ask? Footy, 60's tv series? yourself being good? lol
LOL I just thought it was a cool plate with the irony of it being on a bike of which is probably the last type of vehicle to be branded with that plate. It sounds like the plate is erring towards 'tool'?
