Sid- Contact Gary Bobileff about their price for a belt change. He is a sponsor and his work is so highly respected and reasonably priced that Ferrari of Orange County subcontract with him to do jobs they cannot afford to have their own mechanics perform. He did the belts on my car when FoOC had it for sale. Plus his web site is entertaining.

One thing to keep in mind on the $1800 'belt service' is that it only includes belts. Don't confuse 'belt service' with the 3-yr major service which includes replacement of all belts AND filters and fluids. I've heard a lot of guys use the term belt service and 3-yr major (belt) service interchangeably.

CS #136348 is no longer available at F of Honolulu... will be interesting to see where this puppy ends up. Such a shame, too as it's one good looking CS.

CS #138533 is now being offered at CNC Motors, Inc in CA. Their ad claims "never been raced, tracked..." Unfortunately they probably don't know the real history. What's funny is that The Collection in Miami offered this CS for $126k in April, Scottsdale F offered it at $145.8k just two weeks ago and now CNC is offering it for $4k more over Scottsdale and $23k more then The Collection.

They are going up, at least "asking" prices are going up. Here's a sampling of average asking prices over the past 5 weeks:

    Avg Ask $; # CS's for Sale
    151k; 47
    153k; 46
    154k; 46
    157k; 47
    159k; 46

About this time last year we saw a slight dip in avg asking prices and a 10-20% drop in available inventory from June to October. Last weeks of July and August '09 represented the lowest number of Stradales available. Curious to see what this summer will bring...

With the addition of #138421 today, the CS market stands at 47 CS's available with an average asking price of $160k. Damn, someone buy this CS already!! Hotness (minus the blingy wheels)!!

Ad indicates seller has the OEM wheels so make the swap and give seller the blingies back for a nice price reduction. :)

That yellow car is worth $135 at best right now. Thank God he still has the original wheels!

although I agree with you that 180k is him smoking crack out of a pipe. I'd say low miles and not your typical Red CS will get at least 10k more from the correct buyer. It will take a while though

+ 1... Not many yellow CSs with low miles and no stories ever come up for sale.

The LFSC yellow CS had half the mileage and was under 160k before it was packed off to LA and offered with a further price reduction. This car shows 2 owners; the other car was from the original owner.

I follow the CS market and have yet to see any CS with miles less than 5K and a perfect history for selling less than 140K. I know CSs that have sold for way less than that but had higher miles and/or some kind of story. The asking prices are high but seems like sellers won't let go of a perfect CS for a lower price.

47 cars for sale now. I guess we will see. Also they are now 6 year old cars so Sub 5k mile examples are far and few between. Even 10k miles is a tough marker to crack. Most of them are 9-15k now.

    I'll ask it.

Anyone on this Board still looking for one? Jason bailed. I don't know of any others.

I think anyone who has seen and driven a CS would attest to the fact that this Ferrari is indeed very special. And at the prices that are being discussed here.......an incredible Ferrari bargain. Get them while you still can!!

The LFSC CS was also two owner. Original owner was in CA and 2nd owner was an Fchatter in midwest.

Indeed. Definitely would make a great first Ferrari. :)

Looks like the CS with the repaired floorboard is back on sale on ebay. Has anyone actually checked this car out in person? Is it mechanically sound engine-wise? Its been around for a while so I'm assuming that it must have something up with it besides the floorboard repair. Seems to like it would make a great track car, or for someone who is planning on buying and holding for a long time and is not concerned about resale. Do you guys think it would make a good first Ferrari?

Several Fchatters have considered that CS. Don't know about any mechanical issues but suspect the "salvaged title" is scaring buyers off. If it's just the floorpan and it was repaired correctly then likely a good track car or perfect CS for someone who plans to keep it. For comparison, granted there are a heck of a lot less 250 GTO's SWB's, etc floating around then CS's, but I bet a lot of those million plus dollar 250's have had one story or another and look at them now. Whatever you do, get a PPI!
