My dad's been asking me to buy a car bra for the 599. Is it a good idea though? I know it's supposed to protect the paint, but will it interfere with the car's aerodynamics? It's pretty important if we're gonna be doing speeds in excess of 250km/h right?

Should I buy one or not?

if u mean lamination, u could use llumar, ventureshield or 3m. all good. don't use a strapped on bra cos e straps either come loose or get tangled with the wheel spokes

If you dont strap it properly, things like sand and work its way into the surface between bra and paint. Then its like sand paper.

bra is a non essential item, regardless on your perception of it.

no stick to the clear wrap option. It may dull the paint a little but is cheaper than a new paint job & better than a bra. MP actually has it covering his windscreen as well, I'm sure he will tell you how good it is ;)

who is the best to go to for an installation?

Autovox did mine. Covered the entire front bumper, fenders, hood and windscreen.

He is perhaps the best clear bra installer out there as his mobile team installs for most of the exotic cars at the various dealers or at the owner's house subject to good clean conditions.

There is a way to keep it shiny for the longest time. For those who have seen any of my rides, most folks would not even have noticed that it has been wrapped.
