I look at my children and wonder how so many parents lost so many children to war and are able to keep going day after day. God Bless those who have given the ultimate sacrifice and their families that now live without them!

+1 HBO is re-running the entire 10 part series, The Pacific, this weekend. When people think of WWII, most think of the European Theatre. After seeing this series, you won't forget the Pacific Theatre. The sacrifices and hardships these men endured are mind-boggling. For all those who served or are still serving, our deepest thanks.

I'm not a veteran but my father is and my brother was.

NEVER forget!

 

Heartfelt thoughts and sincere prayers to everyone who has ever served so that I might be free, and for those who fought and fell I pray I will live a life deserving of your sacrifice.
