Wow a Manual. I've yet to see a manual Lamborghini or post-355 Ferrari in Singapore.

Congrats on the new member of your family :)

Jon, this does not belong to my relative.

Was it the same Testa that was at Exquisite Marques for some major work?

you don't need a lifter. The car is not that low. just go a bit slower. enjoy your new toy. Lucky you bought a manual. the 05 e gears jerked alot in 1st gear.

It's clear but it does add a few percentage of visibility on the glass & they mean business! Took the installer a while to find out the fault as well.

We took it off, pretty effortlessly & it passed. But those on the windows left a mess of gooey gum which was a PITA to remove!

You mean you have not seen a 348 and older, running around? It is a nice sight to see esp a Dino/308/328. Lovely curves around a taut body. Then maybe you should keep your eyes peeled around a certain large carpark near Botanic Gardens tomorrow morning. You will not be disappointed!

Yes, this Testa under went quite a lot of work mechanically. Still owned by Alvin I think unless this is the new owner selling.

    Aha. He finally sold it!

This was the ex-DBS black card car. My friend brokered the deal with ES few years ago when he was in charged of that department in DBS & caused quite a stir in the credit cards mkt as it won them a lot of sales! Pity my black card does nothing for me :(

ES part sponsored the campaign as Lambo was pretty new then & needed the advertising. Hence, your car didn't have the lifter to save cost ;)

The car was won by a China? student who obviously cashed it out back to ES & Chan bought it.

It was stickered to a Matt lime green & a few days later sold to your current vendor who did up the cabin etc.

Nice. The manual is a keeper!

Btw, my friend also owned the silver manual unit. ex-Leslie's.

My brother is thinking of buying a Panamera. he had a couple of pokers over the years but has not bought one the last couple of years. Pokers now have a base sticker price and an option price list. What kind of discount can one expect these days from the sticker price?

Yes, it was. After Tim sold it, it sat in the open for months in University lane many years ago as the owner wasn't local. Still retaining the #26 plate.

Thought a relative of yours owned it now. I know there's another which your uncle owned which also happens to be ex-Tim :D

Audi, the one that Alvin is selling now was mine before.

Strange, I thought Tim had more than 3 Testas.

Hmmm maybe I should rephrase it. I haven't seen a post-355 Ferrari with a Manual transmission.

    Dempsey? Got me interested!

EDIT: I've seen too few old Fezzas. My aunt's place had a 412. And the 308 at Autobahn. And a Testarossa or a 512 at the Shell station opposite Autobahn. Other than these, if I remember correctly, I've seen 1 or 2 more, tops.

Tough mate. 3 or 5%? unless it's ex-order which they can do better but not your choice of colors & options but if u know Kwee then much easier.

Yes, manual was a nightmare to sell (probably still is!) & so was blue for Lambo. Think Leslie bought it through ES from Ben after a while but he only had it for a short time.

The pedals off-set is much better in manual units.

So this is the car that I was also trying to win? My black card also does nothing for me! How's the manual shift on the G? Stiff when cold I suppose but as positive as the 355/360 sticks? I simply love that click clack when going through the gears. Feel more involved with the car.

So how many testas are left in SGP? I take it only 1 true 512M and 1 modded 512M look alike? Any TRs?

And if this car has a glass screen over the engine, that makes it 2 cars with this mod? Testas still have so much road presence. Nice!

Is the 412 the red or a white one? I have seen the red one driven by a lady, SQXX plate. Yah, lots of the old ones don't really come out much which is a shame. We should be having something like a local GoodWood revival just to get these cars out but I think the crowd turnout would be disappointing, not many classic freaks like some of us here.

The Testa that my uncle owned is another of Tim's ex Testa.

Tim change too many Testas thats why it is so confusing! ;)

Hahaha, & heard that student spent less than S$100 to win that Lambo

I don't know about cold shift but it was very easy to drive. I only know of this, silver, nera & there's supposed to be another yellow or orange that are manuals.

I can't remember, think it was 9 or lesser. There is one 512TR with Indo owner who won't sell it last I asked few years ago when it was with Autobahn.

Are there two with glass covers in Singapore? I hope my guy still has the mould. I took a few weeks plus several trips to fabricate it & the glass was like S$60? Tempered though but you better not drive over 150 with that as it might just fly off! :D

Its the white 412. Don't see it anymore for my Aunt moved due to an En-bloc sale. Used to see a red 360 Modena and a Maserati 4200 :)

A local Goodwood would be lovely, but yea, I have to agree. Not many people in Singapore appreciate proper classic cars. Petrolhead culture here is pretty pathetic. Unless a private event is organised, I don't foresee any events - like in the UK will be held, which is a terrible shame. :(

Really? If I'm not wrong, the Murcielago was initially only offered in manual, there should still be a few around. I've never seen a manual 360 or 430 though, despite these 2 models being the most prolific models at every fclub gathering :(

I think I've seen a Testa often parked at Punggol Marina. The picture on my phone clearly shows that it has an intake on only the left side of the front bumper.
