    I'd like that too :D

But in reality, I think Kimi, if he returns at all, will be going to red bull, he'd fit in perfectly.

    What!! Redbull and Vodka phew..;)

Mixing alcohol with energy drinks such as Red Bull creates a 'very dangerous cocktail' which is like 'mixing cocaine with heroin', a leading drugs expert has claimed.

In that his Citroen is sponsored by RB the word was that he was being given a year or two away from F1 and the a seat in a Red Bull.

So if you walk into a bar in Helsinki and ask for a Kimi you get a Red Bull and Finlandia?

Actually in the grand scheme of things in the back of everyone's minds is the fact that Vettel's contract is up in 2011 (IIRC). There is going to be a wooing contest that will make college football coaches blush :D

It may very well be that next year's seat would be a "lame duck" seat if Vettel has secretly agreed to sign for the Scuderia for 2012. He has the talent, the personality, the intelligence, common sense (no public incidents...), fan and media friendly. And his youth gives you MANY years right at the prime of his career.

In short he has everything you could want in a driver. Whoever steps up to the plate will have to dig DEEP into their pockets...

    Frank

I wonder if Alonso/Vettel could exceed the 88 McLarens (2 laps from a perfect season) and post a perfect season. Has never been done before, but I would like to see that combination of talent and what it could achieve...

Haven't tried the cocaine/heroine cocktail but I drank vodka red bull like water before moving over to caipirinha...Yet I haven't experienced chasing pink dragons or flying pigs as off yet. Not sure whether to be disappointed or pleased on that one...:D

I'd love to see Kubica in a Ferrari and it's no secret that I am not a Massa fan, but I can look at things unbiasedly... and in that vein, why would Ferrari want to get rid of Massa?

They don't need a #1, Alonso is that. Is Massa not bringing home the points? He's a good #2 driver. I am not sure there is any other driver who is a better #2 than Massa.

I think Kubica has more talent than Massa (by far), but I also think he could occasionally challenge Alonso. And Alonso doesn't like when someone else is fast.

What would Ferrari be gaining in Kubica?

Alonso/Massa and Hamilton/Button are the two best driver lineups on the grid as it stands.

I agree. On paper they look like good chemistry driver pairings.

    Frank

p.s. Massa knows he can't keep finishing 40+ secs behind his team-mate for very long...

Nothing. It'll be a Mclaren 2007 repeat. And NO team wants that.

The time difference isn't as important as the points Massa brings in are. I don't see another driver that can both co-exist with Alonso and bring in the points Massa does.
Mike's right. If it ain't broke, don't fix it.

That is an excellent point. So far they are pulling in the same direction with minimal friction.
