No, not on a California. Same cap used in other applictions is equiped with a overflow tube.

I have a 2010 delivered in December, and it does NOT have one.

Please excuse the ignorance, but are we talking about the black cap or the silver one? Trying to figure out if mine does or does not since we now have both answers!

If you order the Fire Extinguisher you don't get the hose.

If you don't order the Extinguisher you get the hose.

Thanks for clearing up the "spot" we were talking about. I thought that was it, but wasn't sure, obviously. Now I wonder if I am supposed to have a fire extinguisher somewhere on board?

That was a joke. Note ;)

That said Yes you should always have a fire extinguisher on board easily accessible in the passenger compartment.

Call your dealer and ask if you should have a hose attached to that pipe.

In the mean time avoid Freebasing Coke using an open flame in your California.

    ;)

    Cheers

No hose. Guess it's because we both have 2010s. Well, fire ext have been on my mind as the appraiser for our new insurance company said they really like us to have one, and I can't find ours here either. Guess I'm off to Lowe's tomorrow. Do Ferraris catch fire often???

The fire extinguisher option is there because you must have a fire extinguisher to drive your car on a racetrack.

    Hi Guys.

The later cars did not have the overflow hose, it is not needed.
I have seen lots of the new California's coming through the Dealer network & have been told
that it is no longer needed.
