    Cool..... I never looked that closely at the Staples Center roof to notice the solar panels.

    Probably got an energy credit. Villaraigosa's courtside seats paying off! :D:D:D

    Fantastic shots. But I am head-scratching on the focus/out-of-focus areas. With normal lens it is circular but on these pix the focus seems to be a rectangular band like a tilted lens bed and focal plane shutter. Especially on the SF Parking lot pictures. Exif data with camera / lens was not available. John W. Adkisson, the photographer has non helpful web site.

    That thing flies so often over my place in Redondo Beach that the city made the Goodyear Blimp the official "bird" of the city.

    I kid you not...

    The Francisco car park shot, and a few others, were taken with a tilt/shift lens which will give that effect when used in this way.

    I missed this thread before, glad I saw these. Those shots are amazing, I love that fish eye shot. All of them are amazing.

    Great shots!

    My Goodyear blimp shot in the bay area...scanned, so not nearly as nice, but how many people can say they flew the Goodyear blimp from Oakland to Treasure Island and back...:)
