Went to see a 1988 911 Silver Anniversary Edition for my bro yesterday and got a "Warning" for no front plate here in Vermont... I guess it's a $70 fine here...up to now all I have gotten is warnings... And no ticket for "the other stuff"... Tinted windows and running about 70 in a 55... "-Very cool ride man"-Sheriff "-Thank you and pardon the front plate thing"-Me I've always used the "Dale Carnegie" approach to getting stopped for traffic stops and that has gotten me out of at least a couple dozen tickets over the last 15-20 years... Hope you guys don't mind me posting in the Quebec thread but your the closest to me!!! Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Question: Is there a law in Florida requiring a front plate? I assume you are plated Florida.... If the answer is 'no', then thats retarded he even stopped you! The only Canadian province I am aware of requiring a front plate is Ontario - stupid in my opinion and unnecessary - and I think BC as well. (My uncle from Toronto winters in Marco - I LOVE IT THERE!). Chris
All my vehicles are plated in Vermont where I live physically most of the time. States can only enforce that law on vehicles from their own state. I live on Marco fiscally!!!!
I hope you at least spend more than 50% of your time in Marco! Besides the oil in the Gulf, that place is heaven to me! Chris
Hi went to see the guys arrived in Quebec, really nice people and really, really nice cars. Got to drive a bit with them on the highway, sweet sound my friend. Enjoy Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
LONDON Ferrari, the Formula One team of late Canadian great Gilles Villeneuve, have signed 11-year-old Montreal native Lance Stroll as the youngest member of their driver academy. "He is very young but he has already shown in karting he is exceptionally talented," academy head Luca Baldisserri said in a statement ahead of Sunday's Canadian Grand Prix in Montreal. "We will follow him step by step in his forthcoming events in North America and he will soon also take part in our courses at Maranello." Ferrari, the oldest and most successful team in grand prix racing, set up the academy last year to help young drivers progress from karting through to Formula One. Villeneuve, father of 1997 world champion Jacques, raced for Ferrari from 1977 until his death at the 1982 Belgian Grand Prix. © Copyright (c) Reuters Read more: http://www.montrealgazette.com/sports/Every+dream+year+signs+deal+with+Ferrari/3131612/story.html#ixzz0qPKJIUxI ----> Talent or Connections???
You think? Not to mention a great place to practice at whenever he wants to. But what the heck, best of luck to him!
I just heard all of the cars will be parked at the Ferrari dealership all weekend... I hope not, but if so, that's LAME!!!
Super! So this is why I saw a couple Lambo on the streets yesterday afternoon. Where did you ride with them?
Joined them about 15 min east of Levis all the way to the bridge Pierre-Laporte. The F430 Novitec Rosso is I think a twinsupercharged 636HP Beast. The sound was pretty raw. The Spyker surprised me, it actually looks pretty cool Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
