Ferrari 458 track day

Perfect car very fast and very very beautifull !!! I ve seen 458 live in red, in white, in black but the most beautifull is this . I think every 458 Italia sould have black roof never mind what body colour is .

Nice car!!! Anyway, heard that this black roof option is damn pricey tho...

 

The more and more I see the 458 I'm beginning to like it. Can't wait for the ''Challenge Stradale'' version.

I love the color contrast, the calipers and the center caps, though, I think he should have left the panel with the 'Ferrari' script in white.

Am not usually a fan of white Ferrari but wow that looks stunning with the black roof!

I'm usually a big fan of white cars/white cars with contrasting black, but this looks like a test mule with a wrap on it....I'm really not liking the colour choice.

 

Beautiful car - if it had carbon fiber mirrors. I agree the Ferrari script area should have been left white. Ferrari needs to ease up on the roof paint $ - its insulting.

I'm on the fence with it. On some colors, like white, it works; on others...it just doesn't do it for me. Personally, I'd stick to the one color; not the black top.

not a big fan of the white black as the roof pulls your eye from the car a bit too much.

It´s looks like an Japanese car ,not a Ferrari.

 

that thick white mirror sticks out like a skin tab begging to be nipped off by pair of nail clippers. an understated CF mirror with a thin stalk will look much better.

the black roof does well to give an idea of what the convertible will look like, which is pretty sharp.

that big empty side profile full of angles but no sexy/functional air intakes will do doubt be rectified in the next generation.

I swear, one NACA duct just about anywhere on the sides would spice that car up nicely.

 

Er... seriously? The reason the car looks so good is because that did away with all that messy detail. That's the kind of pointless clutter that the Japanese designers are so fond of. And that's why their cars always look crap.

 

I think we're done seeing large air intakes on the side of Ferrari's, the same goes for the big wings of the F40 and F50. It's just not aerodynamic enough.

 

They designed a 458 with scoops and LdM said it looked too much like a 430. He said lets see a design without scoops. That is the 458 he asked them to design to further distance the car from the previous 430 effort.
