I tried going through the LTA and one-motoring websites. I don't think it's there.

    Sure.

This link is more comprehensive & used by dealers to check on the parf value which helps you to calculate your "losses". But you'd need the owner's ID.

    https://vrl.lta.gov.sg/lta/vrl/action/pubfunc?ID=EnquireRebateBeforeDeReg

This is the one that I often use to check on the transfer fee & registration yr etc. as dealers & owners often do not know the details since we don't hold logcards anymore.

Yup, the one at the toll booth in place of the T&G card. Where to get and how much? Also how to top up?

These T&G card stations are just not made for low slung cars and some guys have kerb their wheels trying to get close.
    Thanks.

I'll ask my dad where he got his. It works by inserting the T&G card into it, just top up your T&G like u usually do, at petrol stations etc. U do know not ALL tolls have smart tag right? Most of the NS ones do, but some inner city ones dont

I think about RM100-120 @ major toll booths with a building. I believe the 2nd toll of 2nd link sells, turn to the carpark on left right after passing the gantry. You won't miss it. 9V battery pre-installed.

Yes, anything under Asus but don't entertain one-offs :D But you can get dad to use Asus for his company & chip one in for you ;)

One of the director is a good friend, I did mention to him that the Lp640 tailamp is very nice & looks like he listened!

Top up is available in almost all Petronas kiosk for a fee of 50cents. Some malls do it too, pretty convenient except that they started to remove the free top-ups on some tolls!!!

You need to Q up into the lane leading to the "Tambah Nilai" to top-up your toll card. None other lanes but the problem with them is 50% of the chance is the service is down!

I find the smart tag very convenient & transferable (u can also check card balance) but you'll be surprised with how much Malaysians don't use it.

Hello boys, I go into KL every month for the past 3 years & Fong does it daily!

I don't think my dad is going to order Asus laptops that are primarily marketed towards gamers :D

Thanks for the info. So RM120 is just for the device but no credits? Maybe that's why locals don't use it?

RM 120 for device and they package it with a T&G card with RM10 credit.

You can top up for free when you enter JB causeway, the top up counter is the last one at the end of the the four main sections.

Tim for you, I will gladly purchase them in bulk for you. I will need your 360CS for a night in exchange. :)

It is one of the best things about Malaysia. Self powered, can move from car to car and even tell you how much your T&G has. Just lacking in giving you directions to the best Roti Chenai & BKT. But for that, you have me! hahaha

You should buy at least 2 :)

    I have 4

I think you can get them in some of the toll where there is a touch and go building beside it.

Not sure how much it cost.

vinesh, fong thanks for the heads up on smartag. 120 ringgit with a 10 ringgit credit on a spare card seems reasonable compared to our erp unit and much cheaper then kerbed ferrari or lambo rims or stiff neck/arm from contorting body to try and reach the tng scanner.

Will do. Looks good on the designer's computer and pray that it works out in real life! The cupboards will be red and black, and so will the walls!
