Bravo Wheels: Anyone got one? Front or rear or both? PM me.
Now you have me posting pictures again Joe, make sure you keep track of 1036, I want it back one day... with Flag mirrors! Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
The wire looms, are they all the same? Because I think some the bases, where they bolt to the cam covers, are different angles.....at least on mine, though I'm missing a few.
Over the years I have seen bent wire holders, but the way they are here is correct. The ebay pictures of your car from when you bought it showed a car that was not original in a number of areas, if you are working toward making it look like this, please post pictures and I will be happy to assist you in putting it right. Tony, No worries on that front, as discussed. You may recall that this car actually started life with a single Sebring mirror in 1979. So now its back to the Sebring style unit, albeit a pair of them, with a vastly improved look, I think. I bet top speed is 5-10 mph faster! The flag units had all the aerodynamic efficiency of the front of a truck - which is what they belong on. But, I understand just fine that some like them from the standpoint of them being original equipment for some cars. Personally I think they provide absolutely no enhancing qualities whatsoever to the sublime shape of any Countach, and perhaps over time you too will be swayed to that viewpoint as have many who have tossed the flag units into the old parts bin. But each to their own, its all good. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Don't get me started with the pics LOL! Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Maybe I'll leave the Sebrings on 1036 and save the Flag mirrors for a white S2. No reason I can't have both... other than this crap economy. I better get back to work LOL!
Tony, perhaps I should clarify: I love the Flag mirrors. On a truck. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login

Oh! I wish you get started, your car is such a beauty! Congratulations! I never see enough pictures of your stunning Countach LP400 S1.
A technical question after seeing interior pictures of a nice LP400. How does the periscopio work? Is there two rearview mirrors inside cockpit? Image Unavailable, Please Login
Only one (standard) rear view mirror. The "Periscopa" nickname is just a salute to what might have been from the original design concept of the LP500. It was never carried over to the production cars. So the roof vent and the skylight window and simply interesting features, of no particular use other than a bit more light in the cabin.
