Yeah I was thinking that very same thing while watching the parade last year! I guess they wouldn't mind if it's an F1 driver though, footprints are a small price to pay for adding a bit of cool history to your car.

True that. And the alternative - an autograph on the leather would be a bit overkill :p

Folks at Top Gear and their "Porsche designers are the laziest people ever" theory - I have to agree!

If he is looking for a new ride, i suggest the Maserati Gran tourismo GTS. Sits 4, nice drive and sounds awesome. Used rides, plenty of choice. I don't know how 400+ but maybe a early 430 or 360. Don't recommend an early Gallardo as the E gear is a bit jerky in first gear. If he wants something to cruise around, Conti GT or DB9 is a good GT car. Good luck.

"An assumption is a proposition that is taken for granted, as if it were true based upon presupposition without preponderance of the facts."

Besides who but hairdressers/bengs shop at HB nowadays. It is as cool as Tag Heuer was in the 80s. Flip the lapel on the better looking jackets and it spells cloth by Zegna, what a waste of time, next!

BTW what is botanic gardens? There is only Garden of Eden up here.

I am 20 this year... I think mark is 18 right?
I did suggest a used F430 but then again my dad is concern on the warranty and are there any major parts replacement on a 4 yr old F430 ?
How about Aston martins? saw a few one sgcarmart as well...

Ya been lurking around for quite sometime haha =) Ferrari chat is like some kind of newspaper just have to view it daily

his looking for a 2 door right now... I think proper back seats are not very important if not the choices are limited to e.g Maserati GT, m3 (not much choices)

P.S thanks for the help so far... sorry that I can't contribute anything and I am already asking for advices

If you need 4 seats, the Maser can't go very wrong. Good looker GT with comfy rear seats and practical.
As for worries on the 430, I think it is a very well built car with few worries but let the owners here fill you in. Performance is out of this world and much more than you will ever need.
For something unique and around 400+k, have a look at Autoinc's stratos white droptop AM, if it is still for sale. An ex UK car and it is extremely beautiful with that pearl-like colour, black interior with white stitching. Don't know about built quality though, Tiong will fill you in as he is the AM man here. Flip side is that you don't see many AMs running around as compared to the others (355 excepted, ha ha!) and that car is a modern work of art.
End of the day, tell daddy to follow his heart!

Flying it is much easier than the 747, just like the modern cars are much more friendly than the old ones. But likewise, the complex electronics give much more problems when they act up also like the modern cars.

Hey, bring one in. I don't think there are any, right Jon? A black version reminds me of the Knightrider car, KITT or whatever it was called.

What do you mean by jerky in 1st gear? My friend with a LP-560's been complaining about how the car would occasionally jump forward every time he switched to gear 1 and touched the accelerator even a little bit.

Oh no... Is Knightrider before my time? :D I don't really think they're all that nice though. Have you seen the cheap "engine cover" on the bonnet? I think it looks really silly. The interior is pretty cool though, I like the holographic speed display.

17 and about 320-330 days old right now. Still the youngest :(

I reckon a AM for your Dad should be good. Very grand and tasteful. And more age appropriate too. Although not saying that its only for older men :D

    OR

You could get the Volvo V70R on Sgcarmart, and a IWC :D

    EDIT: How about Q-Cars?
